More videos please, updates on battery life in the full review as well as an in depth camera review (bokeh and monochrome mode too). Also test SD card speeds on the device (like read and write speeds on the device vs what the card is rated for) Also let us know if you got used to the so called weight. This vs the regular xz2 and some other flagships. Thank you

Mrinmoy Paul If you owned xz premium,you wouldnt say that.1000 $ for plastic phone with mushy buttons which are stuck so often.Overheating issues,quality of hardver is so poor,phone is hollow and so squeaky.Its false advertising beacuse its native 1080 display.You can try to run the phone in 4k via kdz,but the nothing works.Apps are crashing,battery drains so fast,everything runs with so much lag.

Mrinmoy Paul I had many sony phones like z2 z3 z5 X and I really dislike this stupid phones. There are always issues with heat and battery life (for Xperia X or Xz xz1) is really terrible if we compare it with S7 edge.

I have the XZ Premium since launch day, and it is one of the best phone i ever had.

Personally even though I have the XZ PREMIUM (been a beast of a phone, and has been great the last year I have used it) I'm waiting to see what Sony does with the XZ3 as there are some very interesting rumours about that phone.

Cant wait... I ordered this on monday for £650 in silver!!!!!!!! arrived from hong kong on wednesday but unfortunately I wasnt in to collect it AHHHHHH. I feel like it be pretty exclusive to have a silver one in uk so early :)

I'm thinking of getting a used/refurbished XZ2 (not premium). It says it only comes with a generic box and a usb charger cable, and when I search on ebay for usb to 3.5mm adapters it says that its not compatible with every single phone. Can you link me one that will work or what I need to look for?

I don't see an issue with no headphone jack....wireless phones are easy to come by.

I'd like to buy this phone, but the screen is a bit too big. The rest of the specs though are incredible, this dual camera setup is the best available right now for sure and the price is totally justified.

This could've been my phone of the year if not for the lack of headphone jack. Thats soooo disappointing since the DACs used in SONY phones are really good. I still wouldn't buy it since I have the XZP but man, the audio experience could've been amazing

Unfortunately the XZ2 Premium does not support USB ethernet. It supports USB Host but no USB ethernet functionality. So you can not use a wired LAN ethernet cable to connect your XZ2 Premium to the internet at home with a USB to ethernet adapter, in case your WiFi does not work. The missing USB ethernet functionality applies to all of Sony's Xperia smartphones. Very disappointing.

I love Sony and I really wanted to upgrade to this phone IF IT CAME OUT IN 2016... In 2018 it is not good enough. Sony dropped the ball and failed hard.

Iphone 8 Plus is the best seller phone of 2018. Bezels are bigger. It also has less battery than XZ2 Compact.

Guy's one for the same money as I would spend on wired headphones I get a higher quality of headphone than I would for wireless and I like the heads up I get from the wire if they fall off. Second there are only a handful of no jack handsets mostly belonging to Apple and 2-3 android not as many as you would think and the standard XZ2 has a jack and this phone is significantly bigger

We'll definitely be doing a full camera comparison, the video chops on this thing is nuts. Here's hoping it lives up to the hype!

This is how you do a proper 4K HDR (display & video by keeping waterproofing intact along with dual stereo speakers setup) awesome phone but poor aesthetics/ design compared to the competition. And for that matter they should have priced it at least 200 - 300 dollars below the Samsung's best (Note 9) on the market. It would have sold like hot cakes and would have got some market share back for Sony. For now its a bit over priced considering looks. 16:9 is fine but those top/ bottom/ side bezels should shrink along with the bulkiness. And where is that 3.5mm headphone jack? (not good Sony your'e still an inch way to make the best phone out there. This shit has been going on for so long and stop putting out flagship phones after every 6 month's along with that pathetic naming scheme) Will wait for the price cut...it will be around 60% of the launch price after almost 4 - 5 months

Selling for 600 dollars would not help. Some ppl say they are not going to buy because of price, then when price drops after months those people still do not buy. Few days ago a store in France had xz2 for €495 only. I doubt they sold all units.

@@OmarSS87 price, timing & branding matters (naming scheme)... If they had launch this back in March/ April with an OLED panel (XZ3) while under cutting S9+ price and not launching XZ3 in Sept. This phone would have made some market share for them.

But they disappointed me a lot of times!I had 6 Sony phones before. Until they not realize that they should do something new....i will never come back to Sony! Ever!

Can definitely see how it won't be for everyone, it's certainly a brick compared with many slender new flagships. We're a little bored with the standard glossy notch styling, so it's nice to see something a bit different :)
