I saw the report. thank you. The quality of the 1V front camera is too bad, isn't it? Still can't beat the iPhone and GALAXY. My 1V will arrive next week.

other phones serve you footage on a platter. sony is great at providing the ingredients and letting us cook :)

Imo phones like the Xperia are on par with DSLR's like the Canon 550D/60D back in 2011(ish) - they have newer features and better processing e.g. faster frame rates but the overall image quality of video clips looks closer to those older cameras than anything from Sony since before the A7S Mk1. I bought mine for the possibility of using it as an emergency b-cam to my SIII but I will be returning it as it's still not quite good enough for my work.

You must be using it wrong then. It's more than capable at video. There is no other phone better at the moment in the right hands. Of course you could get a point and shoot AI laden phone like 99% of KZreadrs who are not photographers in the true sense.
