I have it for a week. Battery backup it's huge: full day of almost non stop socializing; 2 days of medium usage and easily a week only by messaging and short calls (low usage and Stamina that now works best than ever). Screen it's perfect. Sound it's great even with one speaker. Water resistance and headphone jack are so useful. Camera it's full of options! This is the perfect recall of Sony Elm. If Sony had these devices earlier Samsung were making and selling uhd popcorn for now! Cheers Sony, great & true tech support review!

Yeah, but they actually are no where compared to Sony Ericsson which they took over. SE produced some of the best ever phones and I am proud that i bought T310, T610, P1i(the best ever), and Vivaz. All Sony products are v gud but all have the same basic design. And lack innovation.

I've had this phone for the past few days and love it so far. Screen is brilliant. Good build quality and the camera is decent. Best thing is the battery life, really good. I returned the iPhone SE 2020 as the battery was not good at all. I'm not a gamer so this phone is perfect for me. Does everything quickly with no lag.

Sony devices never lags I have XZ1 2016 model and neves lags. Octa 2.45 with 4 gb ram running android 9 but sooo perfect way faster than note 9 and s10 plus.

great review, I've had this for a while and actually sent it back because the screen seemed to be coming away, but having looked at the replacement and your video (especially at 9:10) it seems to be the design that it looks like that. Really weird design on the front as a whole really, but it does well as a phone :)

Hi Chris excellent review as always you are probably the most informative and honest reviewer on KZread. I always purchased flagship devices until my last one died after less than 18months. On your recommendation I purchased the Sony Xperia xa2 and it's been absolutely faultless. I shall never buy a flagship device again as I now believe they don't justify the cost. Yeah this pretty much seemed like the perfect phone for me when I learned it is actually has an OLED panel. I feared it would be an LCD. Great! However, I'd really really love to have the Game Enhancer mode for that sweet H.S. power control feature. Also, Dolby sound enhancement would bee neat to have but I could live w/o this one. The chipset and the missing Game Enhancer features might just be the one that kills the dream for me here.

Beautiful device! The only thing I'm not sure about is that aspect ratio... But I absolutely LOVE that the screen is actually rectangular

Nice quick review! About the colours, in Finland it seems the white sells out in some stores and basically all online sites but one 😮. The black on the other hand seems readily available. I did get me a white one for a really good sports/utility phone (size and build is perfect for it) 😎

Great to see that Sony have reincorporated the Fingerprint Sensor, into the Power Button. I have a cheapo L3, and though I love it, the "separation," isn't ideal. And, 3 cheers for the headphone jack and refusing to kowtow to the notch, still! 👏👏😉

always been a fan of Xperia. I was enjoying the scenery around me with no worries. My friend was a IPhone user and there I am with my Z5. we dive in into this lovely lake taking pictures of underwater. Going back home she's complaining about this red thin line on her screen. it was right at that moment I have never felt so proud of Sony. Z5 is almost irrelevant but it works way better than the big company itself

Thx for the good review of the Xperia 10 II. Really looking for a new compact phone but there isn´t much on the market since years. Do not understand why the industry does not offer anything to this need of consumers. Looking forward to the release of the Xperia 5 II (better camera then xperia 5) but this might get to expensive and do not really need such performance all the time. So the Xperia 10 II get into my focus. Sadly there is no dedicated camera button and for having a compact phone in my pocket for taking fast snapshots e.g. during a bike ride this is more or less a knock-out for this phone. Also the time needed for taking a picture showing in this review seems to be a bit long for a good snapshot camera phone.

I have this great phone as well and mine has dual Sim or one SIM and one microSD card. It also has a notification LED which most phones these days don't have because they cram in a huge display with notches and crap. I did and do not want any holes or notched in my display, even if you might get used to it. One thing I wish it would have is AOD, the AOD apps pretty much suck. One should also mention that this is made in Japan, and not China and you can tell by the build quality. So what if there are bigger better phones out there, you can't beat the price on this one. One more thing I noticed is that the Ampere app claims the battery to be a 2700mAh instead of the 3600mAh advertised, but maybe the app is wrong. Nevertheless I have no problem with battery life whatsoever.

I got it. Great phone. Good price.

Headphones are way better sounding than they look. Try them despite the look they are quite good. I also was amazed as you can see in my review.

That's OLED? The black level is not as deep as the surrounding bezel. Maybe the glass has big gap

Sony should make another variant of this phone.. Xperia 10 mark 2 mark 1. It a same phone but without of ip rating, oled, gorilla glass. But it get at least sd730. And price is lot less... Woww what a dream. 😂
