@@jasonMB999 youre full of crap sorry to tell you, jbl just didnt put enough marketing efforts like sony and other companies. Their tws and headphone lineups are up there with the top contendors, and its with headphones only. In terms of speakers they are killing all of these companies with no effort. Their car speakers are also great, they just do everything with quality.

I bought these two days back . Very premium feel. Looks so cool.Very very comfortable. ON off switch is super helpful. Do not compare the bass to beats headphones. It is not that great but definitely better than Bose. Haven’t tried the Sony myself. . Only one con .. It couldn’t cancel out the loud train track noise. It blocked to like 75-80 percent. Other than that I give it 9 on 10.

Wow, thank you! Sounds so cheesy but seriously comments like these are the best and are what make me want to get better at this. Hope you're well! I love these headphones till this day.

JBL actually makes very good headphones, and it should be known. I used the JBL live 650 and last December I got the Sony hear on 3. Even though the Sony were louder and had better ANC, the sound on the JBL was much much better. Everything is so clear. I think I'll get the tour one during festive season.

Exactly. Sony for now is the King of ANC, but JBL is the sweet spot between Bose and Sony on price and quality. The sound quality is way too good on these.

Try Wh 1000xm3 or XM4 and then say what do you think. ANd use it with whire

And I just bought the club ones.....I like the way the club one collapses/fold up, and the fact it has dual input....but dang the mic is amazing on the tour one

The Tour One's are amazing and am surprised most don't have these in their top 3.

I have these headphones and am listening to this review while wearing them. I have a headcold and wear glasses and they are still very comfortable. Great sound and general mic quality. Recommend!!

I do the same with every product I review lol I'll be wearing them while watching other reviews. It also helps gauge if I missed anything or really just for the fun of seeing others experiences. They truly are underestimated, I think JBL is lacking in their marketing department.

i have the jbl club ones, as soon as u plug in w/a jack and stream hifi, next lvl sound

bought them in Europe. Im was on the plane for 16hrs. great sound. and noise cancellation is amazing..

Hi Adam, loving your honest and realistic reviews. I'm completely lost on this purchase as I'm between so many options. I'm mainly comceerned about sound quality as well as comfort. Not super interesred in ANC performance (happy if it's good enough but not my essential) . Do this sound clearly better than xm4s? I tried xm4s at the mall and did not sound excellent to me. The Tour One's are on sale at Best Buy for $149.99. I'd say just take advantage and get these asap because of that deal. The sound quality and comfort are much better than the XM4's. The XM4's have better ANC and Speak to Chat. That's the only advantage in my opinion. Even the microphones are pretty similar for calls.

I did the firmware update these are great headphones I stream my music from deezer. Thanks for this recommendation these beat xm4s hands down!

Glad I'm not the only one that thinks so! Mainly because I was thrown off. Didn't think these would sound as good as they do. JBL knocked it out of the park.

I was going to order the Soundcore Q35 headphones, but after watching your KZread video I am now considering purchasing the JBL Tour One headphones. Any advice, I'm only interested in comfort wear and sound quality especially for listening to orchestral and easy listening music.

bud I doubt you're looking but the comfort on these is incredible. I've tried the bose qc's and they are nothing compared to these. I wear glasses, and have gaming sessions for multiple hours and I NEVER, and I mean NEVER get pain with these or discomfort.

Which one is better into sound quality, jbl club one vs jbl tour one m2?

I've used these and still use them for garden work, working out and doing stuff around the house in general. They're built good enough to wear I think they'll last a really long time before they get ruined.

i have em for 6 months they broke by taking off my head the ajusting mechanism doenst work anymore it just falls down and it always makes a wierd noice when ambient aware is on

They did add an eq to the Bose NC 700 headphones

Great question, the Momentum 3's still have better music quality, but slightly. The app functionality and ANC are much better, these are more comfortable too.

Bose 700's have a much better microphone. Did you get a chance to listen to the microphone test with this review? At 12:45

Hi Adam, firstly a very nice video. I finally hit the bullet on these and I’m trying to play around with it. Do you happen to have some EQ settings for the cans? Especially for someone who listens to a lot of progressive house, pop and Bollywood. Much appreciated

Besides the app I don't have any custom EQ settings I prefer. With these I actually just kept them neutral or at JBL's Sound Signature. How are they going for you? Thanks for the comment!

@@TechOutAdam I like them for the price I paid around 120US$. I find the ANC to be lacklustre, the sound is good but only after I played a little with EQ. With flatline the sound was really bad. I’m yet to play them through auxiliary and test the hi-res part. But if I paid retail asking price I would be genuinely disappointed. I need to play around a bit more though. Are you aware if these support AAC? I have found conflicting views on Google.

@@TechOutAdam quick update. So I went into the settings of my iPhone and noticed I had restricted loud sounds on my phone and maximum output was limited to less than 85db. Turned it off, and connected using wires and these sound and perform much better. I really hoped the soundstage was a little wider but it’s still good for a closed-back headphone.

Great review, thanks! I just returned their sibling JBL Live 660NC, they were such a letdown (uncomfortable, underwhelming sound and volume even EQ'd). I just ordered the Tour One - they just went on sale in Canada. Hopefully, they're better than the Live 660NC.

The Tour One's take the cake on that. Sennheiser has a fuller sound in clarity overall but by a slight margin with that model. The Tour One's are too good.

Right now they are $150. Would they still be worth it even for that price in 2022?

Don’t sleep on JBL speakers. They reproduce EVERYTHING. I’m a recording musician and I will often hear things from my JBL system in the car which even my monitors seem to miss. Crystal clear. A little coloring in the sound? Yes, but a far better color than most on the market.

I didn't like the JBL tour one I have Soundcore q30 from Anker. That's one third of price but the sound is amazing on Q30. It broke since I dropped so bit cheap plastic but no way JBL is even near Q30 on sound quality I watches top gun songs and trailer with both changing settings and everything but with Q30 the clarity of voice and base make you feel you are watching in a movie theater.i am disappointed the look and feel is classy

The Tour One's have better sound quality overall, but it's that dang ANC that goes to the XM4's for how much they block out. The mics and sound quality go to the Tour One though.

This or Apple Air Pods Pro?

The only thing the XM4's have is the ANC quality is fantastic. Other than that, they're overhyped.

I have a few different high end over ear headphones, I won't list them all, including these. I got these at costco over a year ago for like.. idk, I wanna say $180 or something like that. They definitely were not worth that. I've used mine a lot, mostly cuz it's just convenient. I like the form factor and the touch controls, the foam is nice. The battery life is okay. Better than airpods max. Nowhere near soundcore. The noise canceling is defective garbage. Meaning it clips with loud noises and huts your ears. As far as performance, its barely better than the soundcore Q30 which is very low bar, nowhere near what premium stuff does. They are comfy the issues is mine are wrecked after a year. The cups are trash. Headbands are trashed. I found out the cups are changeable which is nice. The plastic on mine is starting to crack on the headband also. I got some airpods pros 2 when those came out and those are AMAZING.They sound as good and cancel sound as good as my max. Thats where I'm at now. I got some memory foam pads for mine, one of my 2 sets, and I alternate those. If I had paid $300 for the jbl I'd be furious. Just to be clear I only used my jbls in my home office, working from home, for basically 1 year before they were trash I'd be embarrassed to be seen with. They're falling apart. They still work but they are gross.

If anyone is consider buying these headphones to use for travel then DO NOT. They are useless. The noise cancelling is terrible and they are VERY quiet. When I used these on a plane I was unable to hear the movie over the noise of the engine. My cheap $10 earphones were louder so I used them instead. AVOID.

I once bought a pair of flagship JBL BT can before.....NEVER AGAIN. worst build and worst customer service....EVER!!! Happy with my Sony MX3'S and Sennheiser momentum 2 TWS'S 👍🏽❤

Sennheiser is so good as well! You have to go with what you like, luckily we have many different companies for real lol

Avoid these headphones. They are extremely quiet and the noise cancelling is worthless. If you are on a plane or a train you can not hear a movie. Cheap apple earphones are louder. Total waste of money
