I just got this for 140 a few weeks ago. Totally worth it for the price. And I love the sound, instrument separation and music fidelity is great.

I saw it in the Sony store for 200 bucks and i HAD to buy it like you said its a no brainer for the price its a perfect speaker to carry around and the build quality and audio are really really good im very happy with my purchase.

I plan on getting one for 84$ refurbished off eBay ive always loved sonys speakers sound quality you can get a really good surround sound effect for music with live sound and LDAC helps too

I have 2 of these. I love them.

Just bought one at Target for 104.00. It was 200.00 at Best Buy so I looked online and Amazon wanted 200.00. I called Target and they have them on clearance. Glad I did some research!

Can’t decide if I want the black or light color option

I bought this last 2 days ago. I charged it because is says "low battery", I charged it and waited for 10 mins, I found it weird because it said "battery is at 40%" and after I waited for 53 minutes, it's still says "battery is at 40%".. I'm not sure what's the problem is because it keeps saying "battery is at 40%", it's not saying the exact battery percentage of the speaker 😢. Any advice? Or any ideas why this thing is happening? 😢

I don't like how SONY is uncomfortable with wattage rating for it's speakers, (at least this model for sure, no specs anywhere on watts power on there website). Would you say this sounds as loud as a 60 Watt Speaker? (it's hard to tell through KZread on laptop speakers)

Xg 500 is only 40 watt now you can guess X300 wattage 😂. But Xg 500 sound definitely more than a 40 W JBL not comparable to 80 W boombox 2. So it's really confusing how they rate it. For such a big size of XG 500 , is sounds a bit louder than XG 300. People are returning thier 500 for 300 due size any very marginal sound improvement

Bought it refurbed like new 109.00 it’s awesome for that price nice warm sound signature nice video.

How does the XG300 holds in time? Does it got dirty or got stains or got a yellowish tint being a bright grey? I wanna buy a grey one but I'm wondering not to get dirty in time.

I don't own this speaker but I do have a light gray Google Nest audio speaker, it has the same material and it's easily stained, no yellowish tint just stains from dirty hands

I love my Sony xg300 " It sounds Amazing watching movies and videos on my Android phone and tablet " Very Clear Audio" 💯

I just ordered the xg500, and if that is too big I might get this one

@@brnardm9273 go to eq and adjust it to your liking treble up all the way midrange at half bass up to 7 is what I use you don’t have a lot of choices on this model the XB series allow in addition to eq you have Live or XB settings Spotify has an eq to that helps as well JBL and BOSE COME TUNED WELL..

sony srs xg300 vs jbl charge 5. How do they compare to each other. As it is similar price for me. And i am confused about which one to choose.

This ☝️!! The charge 5 so much smaller which is what I want… but the Sony sounds SO much better in person. The XG300 sounds amazing in person so much bass. 3ish lbs vs 8ish lbs.

Also the Sony xg300 has very low latency which is perfect for streaming movies and videos "

Does it support usb input for music?

This a waste comparing to charge 5 or extreme 3. Sony had to reduce the price due to very low to no sales. All over the world the price is going down. I THINK NOW THEY ARE SEARCHING FOR THEIR TRUE PLACE IN PRICE TO PERFORMANCE.

I tried Charge 5 for a day and the mono speaker sounded so bad that I sold it the next day and bought XG300. The stereo sound sounds so much better when compared to Charge 5. Since I use it as a computerdesk stationary speaker, I like the feature that holds the charge at 90% when charging so I can let it stay charging 24/7 but not throwing away the battery after a year. All in all very happy (got the Charge 5 for 100€ as used and XG300 for 160€ as used).
