Great video thank you! I regards to the audio test split the test in LOW - MID and HIGH volume so the test covers the entire sound quality spectrum of the speaker.

I purchased 2x of these Xb23s with the idea to always keep them paired up, playing in stereo, creating a larger soundscape and improve performance. I am very well impressed at how seamless this stereo pairing takes place. After pairing both speakers in Stereo Mode this connection will automatically be activated every time the speakers are switched on. Having my phone previously paired to either of my 2x Xb23s, when I switch both speakers on, they establish a connection and let you - discreetly - know which is left and which is right. And before I can open Spotify, I'm connected and ready to go. This whole process requires me to switch the speakers on and press play in my music streaming service. I'm very happy with these 2 speakers. I won't be as happy if I only bought x1 Xb23. Then I would rather go for the UE Megaboom 3.

can you turn on just one and use it as a single speaker? and will you need to pair it back togeather when you turn on the other one? The idea: have both of htem on shelves at home, but take just one to the park, and then bring it back home to have it stereo again

So I still use the XB-21 & get good for it’s age & use the AUX a lot & battery about the same. What’s the comparison over the XB-21? What’s my options to replace when time comes? What comes close in bass for size?

I just got this speaker for Christmas. Yes, the sound is awesome! But does anybody know how to solve this issue: While using the speaker, I don't hear or feel (through the speaker or through my iphone) any text messages or notifications - only phone calls. Is there a way to "enable" texts and notification sounds while using this speaker?

Could you please compare it with the LG pl5?

I also think they put the holes in the bottom so that when you place it on a table there is a place for the air to be released which will give you better bass. If it didn't have it than the bass would be muffled... if you don't have a channel for the air flow than sound gets muffled... I honestly don't think it's for when the speaker is up against a wall, just happens to sound amplified when that happens... Just my thoughts on it.

sturpdog you can adjust the eq, change sound modes from stamina to extra bass, group speakers together and check the battery from the app and also turn the speaker off from the app

yes there is a app but put the volume on max on the xb23 because they both have separate volumes.

Is it better than the LG PK3?

I just got the Sony XB33 today. I haven’t used it yet. I’ve had the jbl charge 5 a couple of times. That’s why I went to Somy. I saw the XB23 and I just want to know if the 33 is that much better than the 23? Or is the 23 almost the same just shaped differently? Idk if it’s worth the price difference to have the XB33 over the XB23. What do you think?

I have botz. Xb33 sounds much better, especially at higher volumes. At low volumes, the difference is also there, but not that big.

How many watts?

I have the speaker and am enjoying it, but I can't stand the "Bluetooth connected" voice… it is really loud and annoying! Does anyone know how to turn it off, or at least down? It is so loud and annoying that I am considering returning the speaker if it cannot be adjusted or turned off. Thanks in advance!

Got this speaker at the swapmeet for 15 dlls and listening to this video from the speaker itself not bad but cannot compare to the jbl line

For the size they could have easily added a tweeter in it

So you can't plug it into your computer and play off of it ? There is no jack for it or can it play through the UBS cord

If you have an iPhone, go to settings-EQ-late night, and it’s decently loud enough. It won’t really reach the whole party, but still probably be good enough for a medium sized party

The sound quality is decent but the battery dies way too quick. I brought it for $100 but it really should've been $50-$60 with how quick the battery drains.

Without the AUX input, i am not buying the xb23 and xb33. Why does Sony follow the trend of JBL and Apple. Music sounds better on 3.5mm which is what we want sometimes.

Sound quality at low Volumes: Xb23 6/10, Xb33 7/10, Xb43 9/10. At high volumes: Xb23 5/10, Xb33 8/10, Xb43 8,5/10 So the xb43 is the best, but also the heaviest by far. If you need only low volumes, the xb23 is decent, too. If you need higher volumes sometimes, the xb33 is a great choice, as it still sounds good even at max volume and is still handy and easily portable.

Now in 2021, I have to choose between this or Sonos Roam. But this is priced lower, so I might get it.

I have both. and returned the roam.. the battery is terrible on roam, and it doesn't get as loud. also the power button is so hard to press.. also it does this weird thing when watching KZread videos where it would stop playing music for a split second when changing orientation.

Away from wall I bet enhanced 360 degree audio.

I have to pause the video to make sure if i’m watching Alex Caruso or not lmao!

My son won his from a Costa can when he told me I thought it be some shit Bluetooth speaker then a Amazon parcel turned up and he opened it and this was in there lucky sod but lucky for me he has another one he likes so sold it to me family rates for £20 but u know the saying happy wife happy life so I give it to her as she always listens to her Alexa I brought a couple of years ago and she needed a upgrade lol I think it's wicked for a speaker to be honest would I pay 80 for it hell no but if your looking for a good speaker and willing to pay the money it's defo worth it
