One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all. One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego. The other is good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith." Netfix at least has working products regardless of thier quality…far too many games today lock content behind paywalls…or constantly shove cosmetics and advertising in your face…or promise updates to online services and then let go of employees and screw over costumers for the shareholders. Because what's actually there is just vapid and empty and the game has no replay value, but the bean counters want to artificially inflate player engagement. Meanwhile good games don't have to "trick" people into playing them more, because people will just play them.

I wish getting gas was a concept in other games Felt so damn immersive swear gta 6 better have this functionality cuz nothing breaks immersion more than flying at mach 10 actually 500 miles and never stopping to refill Also would be cool if like every car had a random amount of gas So you could steal a car from a dude who was running on E during a police chase now your stranded in the middle of the road Also the faster you go the faster the gas drains just like real life Man mad max was truly unique

It is a irrelevant change, it's not like they retconned Cadia being destroyed or a new chaos god having always existed or one not existing. Shit like that would be real retcon that mattered in the lore. A bunch of characters who did almost nothing as far as we know and failing at their main job having female members so a few mentions of them as being male are now wrong is so insignificant. The moment you charge by the hour is the moment people will rush through the game and feel cheated with practices that arificially inflate run times. As a consumer you can use this logic as a way of feeling good about a purchase but as a company to price based on it will only push consumers to critique the hours spent playing and most likely not play for very long if it's not worth the cost per hour. Look at Starfield. It's apparently a "long game," but how much of the time is bogged down by inefficient menus and travel, etc, to inflate the hours played on game pass.

I see once again, the industry just ignores Nintendo. Nintendo did with TotK what Embracer group said “no one tried”. TotK was a $70 polished 150 hour experience and people payed for it. The REAL difference is that Nintendo built up a STRONG reputation with its fans and gamers that we had faith it would be worth the $70 price tag. AND IT WAS! But Nintendo showed it isn’t going to milk a game just for money’s sake by not making DLC for TotK even though fans REALLY wanted it. We are willing to pay Nintendo $70 because we respect Nintendo for respecting us. We have NO FAITH Embracer would do the same.

"Nintendo wins by doing absolutely nothing." They're very behind the times technologically speaking regarding online games ( then again, it's not like the competition is doing any better considering how disastrously Xbox and Playstation services are doing now due to their own massive mistakes ) but yeah their quality of first-party titles has always been very consistent compared to others.

There is a HUGE difference between: 1. A Japanese studio making a game about a white guy becoming a samurai. 2. A Canadian studio making a game about a black samurai. Both are about foreign people, one is cultural appropriation however. Add on top of that the historical background of both the characters and you can see how AC:S =/= Nioh We all know Yasuke was not a real samurai, he was a slave and a jester. Ubisoft is trying to rewrite history to make black people seem more important. It's Clownpatra all over again.

People have been asking for an assassin creed game based in Japan for over a decade and when they decide to make it they don't even use a Japanese samurai. They went with the one guy that would never blend in with their society, so much for being an inconspicuous assassin and for the games trying to be the most historically accurate. I'm so tired of this woke bullshit/push the narrative. It's an absolute shame this is the direction they went because the world looks so beautiful but I will not be playing it.
