Nice! Can you give me a link where you buy it in Hong Kong. Getting a version with no volume limited is very important. I got my NW-ZX 1 from Japan just for that reason.

You can play hi-res from streaming after a software update that released may 2020

Thanks for the great review. Just want to double check on the usb out from Amazon Music HD. Does your Chord Mojo show it all coming in @ 192k 24bit? (That what it shows my HiBy R6 Pro) does Tidal show up @ 96k on the mojo. I sent mine back when I learned it wouldn’t output hi res via headphones. I take your point re sound quality and might try once again and not worry about the numbers. So would you kindly confirm what sample rates you see on your Mojo with Tidal and Amazon Music HD? Thanks v much m8

i dony have Amazon HD but using my normal hires files it showed it as 192k 24bit

Can these power a 1000 ohm headphone

If I only use 3.5 / 6.35 unbalanced output, what DAP would you recommend ? IMO, ZX507’s 3.5 port sounds really good, but there are probably better sounding DAPs ( for unbalanced outputs ) for the price.

I would say buy the Sony NW A105 that is a very nice sounding player from the 3.5

I almost buy this zx507 how is the sound quality compared to your previous DAps? Almst bought this one but because there's no review I didnt buy it. I now have the fiio m11 pro which im happy. Thanks for this review btw

i do like the sound a lot its detailed warm and has a nice slam bass i would not call it neutral..i am curious about the Fiio M11 i might get one to test

i have a question when you using btr5 using balanced output do you have heating issue?

battery life is trash, don't do it man. only gives you 9 hours and takes 5 hours to fully charge. disgraceful product

Thank you for this video. Sucks about the down-sampling from streaming music providers. Typical Sony. They make a POTENTIALLY terrific device and then hamper its use. Why put Android on it, that allows us to download great streaming apps (as opposed to the ZX300), and then not allow their fully ability to shine through? Seriously, what's their argument here? One quick Q - you said there's no down-sampling if you use the USB C port right? Meaning it would have to go to a DAC (like your BTR5) as that's a digital out?

Lockscreen is available for the ZX507, he just disabled it

@@Goodgrove thanks for your help how much better is the sound on the nx507 i have the nw-a55 and the unit quit reading my sd cards was bummed because i liked the sound quality on that unit. it is very hard to get one now

Volume limit can be simply changed in the settings 🤣😂 Sony don't change such sound volume settings based on countries.

because of the tiny capacitors it takes time for them to reach optimal performance hence "Burn in" sound quality changes as well ...sony recommends burn in for their daps

Not going to lie but the dac in the lg v30 is very good ..yes you but you can use this device as a standalone its just like your phone without the calling capabilities
