Debuting the Spider-Man-less Kraven solo film a week before Sonic 3 is a… bold move, to say the least

I feel like Sonys mindset is “Why put actual effort into multiple movies that’re gonna make little money when you can put effort into one spider man movie every 4 years and make a billion.”

To be fair they don't necessarily have to think about us. Art is created by an artist for said artist's pleasure, and gaining an audience in the process is just a benefit. But Sony movies aren't made by artists. They sometimes don't even feel like theyre written by human beings in the first place. So, technically my argument is null.

@@Mariofanaticanimations ??? Beyond The Spiderverse is not anywhere near finished, even before the strikes there was practically no way it was making the 2024 release date. They hadn't even brought the actors in to record their lines, which is one of the earliest steps to making an animated movie.

You'd think Sony would be smart enough not to put this into the path of Sonic like they did Morbius but apparently their just on a stupid train right now.Oh well it just means Sonic's going to curbstomp a live action remake prequel no one asked for and another failed attempt to have their own cinematic universe. And again what's funny is thanks to the spider verse animated movies they actually do have an answer for this by making movies about the Spider Varients, even Spider Ham would draw attention from people.

Only good thing about the Sony verse is the animated across the spiderverse

The only way venom 3 could be a big success is if he fights spiderman, we had that whole 2 post credit scenes teasing exactly that I’d be disappointed if that’s not what we get in some way

If it comes out in December I really hope Kraven being a Christmas movie becomes a meme

Its a big gamble considering every time they push a movie's release date back, they are losing lots of money in financial loans that the studios take out to film the movies, since the longer the wait till its release the more interest gets incurred and now it has to compete with other box office Xmas time movies.

I think it's being delayed cause deadpool 3 and to change things. So maybe that affected kraven since Tom Holland Spiderman most likely gets effect by what deadpool is gonna do.

I think this universe is really gonna end off with the venom movie because that’s the only thing I heard was keeping it afloat even though I have my problems with the second one my goodness it was supposed to be rated R movie, but that was sadly taken from us. Thank you, Seth Rogen giving us a rated animated film for venom

2:49 The bus actually did make it into the movie and it can be seen just out of frame and I believe the "Where is Spider-man?" refers to the period of time where Andrew was missing in TASM2 and they literally state "Where is Spider-man?" in a scene

There is nothing to watch in theatres right now . They need to get this movie out there before all the big holiday time movies come out

The only thing that can save this movie is a Kraven vs Black panther fight, because in some comics kraven is also a black panther villain

I like Tom Hardys venom, but i hate how it isnt R rated, its an alien that bites the heads off villains sometimes, it should have been R rated, and blood should be all over the place

Sony had the blue print man. They fumbled hard. They could have easily tied the 616 and Sony verse. Could have made the last movie a real life king in black story line where you have all the Sony anti hero’s face off against Knull only to all be killed off leaving Tom Hardy’s venom and a young miles morales with spider powers having to jump across using a mystical arts user from the Sony verse or madam web to jump to 616 to warn them of Knulls arrival to consume their universe too. That would have been amazing . They could have made beautiful build up anti hero movies in the level of venom . And could have made a beautiful climactic story with all the characters have venom be the main hero as he becomes the new king in black in a part 2 where u have Knull come to 616 to face off against tom Hardy’s venom , miles morales, and the 616 heroes including spiderman

They should pull a WB and write it off for tax purposes

They could've delayed it a few months to avoid the writers' strike, but no, they delayed it for a YEAR, now they delayed it for the end of the year, because yeah, when I think of Kraven, I think of christmas. It really wasn't. Kraven is now competing against bigger and more well known movies Sonic 3 & Disney's Mufasa. It was always going to be bomb but it's DEFINITELY a bomb now lol. They should've just kept it up against another potential bomb which is The Crow because then when it bombs it's not going to look as bad lol.

I know someone who saw an early cut of Venom 3 and said it's much worse than Venom 2 and may be worse than Morbius.

I originally made this under a comment but decided to make it is own comment. Just for y'all to know, the only reason Sony even started this universe was because of the deal they did with Disney. It's easy to paint Sony as the bad guy when it's marvel the reason you don't get a TASM3, Spider-Man 4 with Tobey, or even another live action spider-man. In their concept art for madam web it was originally a spider-man story, but because of the deal with marvel they couldn't use spider-man in their solo movies anymore. Remember with morbius they had to change graffiti where it was raimi's spider-man? Marvel's deal prevented them from even mentioning him. Even in madam web they had cut off Mary Parker even saying Peter's name. If marvel wasn't scared of competition we'd have multiple Spider-Man movies rn, the only ones Sony can make is the animated movies because marvel does see it as competition with their Spider-Man. The deal itself was obviously planned to make Sony lose the deal because how tf they were gonna keep the rights if Marvel dictates when they can use Spider-Man? Not saying Sony is innocent, both sides are terrible, but it's not just Sony who is the bad guy here.
