Wow. 2020 has sucked for many reasons. New camera choices is NOT one of them.

This is a very professional device! I would love to have such a device!

You'll need a computer or a dongle, like live u solo. Not a very good choice in that regard.

Are you only allowed to flag a clip in the thumbnail section after recording, or is it an option to flag a clip while recording using one of the assignable buttons? That's one of the best features of my PMW-300.

Can you elaborate on external RAW recording? I would like to know about the ability to record 16 bit RAW on a Ninja V recorder

Question: this or the Canon C70? Does the DGO of the C70 and more user-friendly operation outweigh the full frame and S-Cinetone of the FX6? It’s a big question for many of us because it is buying into an entire system for years.

That is correct, the XLR inputs are on the removable top handle. It does have a mic on the body for scratch audio. Thanks! -Joey P

While we do not have V-Mount Battery Plates listed yet, we fully expect 3rd Party Option to be out after it is released. That should be possible in the future. Thanks! -Joey P

The SONY FX6 has no IBIS or other OIS system. Per SONY: Image Stabilization and More with Catalyst and Metadata: Pair the FX6 with Sony's Catalyst Prepare/Browse software to use metadata to stabilize your image, automatically rotate gimbal footage, and add flags for easier clip filtering in post-production. >Mark

If you mean record proresRAW with the FX6, then no. The FX6 only records proresRAW through SDI

@@AlreadyTiredOfYou No I meant if I can use it at all with the FX6, I don't really care about ProRes Raw as DaVinci Resolve doesn't support it. But I wanted to make sure, that I can at least record normal ProRes from the FX6 with the Ninja V. And BTW, as you're talking about SDI: Atomos has an SDI module for the Ninja V. But it seems like even over SDI you won't be able to record ProRes Raw with the Ninja V.

@@philmaker_ Oh, alright. I just wanted to clarify in case that ProresRaw was your intent. It'd be sad if you wasted money and time. And yeah, I heard about it... It's quite sad... Sounds more like they're pushing us to buy that gargantuan 7inch monitor 😅😅😅 It's bigger than the camera haha. I hope they'll come up with a new version of the ninja V but with SDI.

@@AlreadyTiredOfYou Yeah I think it's a shame that Atomos is going this route, as the Ninja V obviously is technically capable of shooting ProRes RAW. It's just them wanting us to buy the bigger and more expensive Shogun 7.

Operator side. Bottom corner-pocket. Recessed. Between the power switch and the three-position switches.

Camera is amazing but in the old Sony fashion they put rubbish lcd wit 0.9m dot just like old a7 iii

well, this cam might be aprox the same as the C70, but........ tests, from serious people ( and so should B& H be ) show that this cam s got nowhere near 15 stops of D.R ! plz, stop saying that ! maybe around 12-12.5 ø.adn the canon c70s got around 12.5-13.
