This cameras aperture doesn't go high enough to blur the background. The highest that it goes is f3.

Just a quick question: does this manual setting automatically applies to video? For example, if I want to set shutter speed in video recording, I go to manual mode and set it there, then go back to video mode?

Nevermind, I got it. Movie mode has automatic settings only.

Xzavian Xzaviann it depends on your zoom so your zoom changes your aperture.thanks for your comment have any other questions?

Informative. Could have been better if the video was made in a bright room or outside. Also could have taken a few more shots as examples.

+Dorian Powdrill I might make a video soon but I can explain it to you here soo If you shutter speed is like at 1/1000 of a second you can get fast moving objects it's good for sports but if it is that fast less light enters the lens so darker the Image gets A slower shutter speed is good for darker images for ex. 1/4 And a shutter speed like 20/1 can get you good long exposures. I will make a video on it as soon as I can.

this you tube was absolutely useless all in the dark didn't even know what you were doing or pushing..

That's why I had text and when I increased the light it was hard to see the screen and I don't have the best camera to record it, but thanks for the feedback anyway ☺️ I will try to do better next time

Ok, annoying music, shots pretty dark, talking thru the settings instead of a few words of text might have been more helpful. Thanks for your effort just the same, but I found almost 0 'how to use/best use' clips on YT. I managed to find the user guide and read and d/l a pdf of that. Told me most of what I wanted to know.
