Same here, thanks Sidney! If you have the time to answer (no problem if not, I know how much work it is), do you have tips for exposing Slog / Cine4 for snow? I underexposed by around 1 to 2 stops with cine 4 and the a6500. Still, the snow clips hard at many scenes.

Thanks ! A perfect starting point guide to learning! Just a question: I'm working on Premiere Pro 2018 and the Hue Saturation Curves on this version seem different from yours, there are no linear quadrants with "beautiful lines" there but only a single circular scheme. How to adapt correction on this new HSC scheme? Thanks again!
Waw...thats amazing, you just helped me to get over my third party plugins such as cosmo (from Red Giant)...Cheers mate.
*This is some good information!*
Thank you sidney
Awesome work, skin tone isolation my favourite technique because you can also control the color of any object in the frame. Combine that with a mask and it's give you lots of ability to control your look.

Good content, thanks for sharing. Are you using HLG with bt2020 or rec709? I think your HLG video looks so much better than mine.
I think you should convert slog to rec 709 first before starting to the correction.

Love the content!! What do you think of the normal pp1 for straight out of camera colors
@SidneyDiongzon
5 жыл бұрын
I think PP1 is great!! As long as you expose right of course
Very useful video thank you. By the way HLG is HYBRID log gamma and not High log gamma. The thing that fascinates me with these videos is one frame is corrected as if it was a photo where as we know the video consists of many frames. So when you are grading skin tones via a mask does the mask move with the people or does PP simply treat that colour in the same way wherever it finds it.

Hey Sidney, just wanted to point out a mistake that might be confusing to others. In the curves panel, you were actually adjusting Sat vs Sat, but you were talking about Luma vs Sat. What Sat vs Sat does is anything on the left side is what is not saturated and things on the right side as the most saturated. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone wondering.
