great video review of the A7 Mk4 I have preordered one last week and should see it in the early new year, also been a Sony shooter since 2007 and any Sony gear has never failed me in whatever conditions i shoot in heat, cold, or wet, great reliability and pretty the best service i have seen for any DSLR branded camera and it keeps me coming back to them, I am a hobbyist photographer and my stuff is rough around the edges allot the time and this new Hybrid A7 Mk4 fits the bill for me to expand my chances to do video now with photo which my A77 MK2 was super limited, with a max of F3.5 in video and 31 minute recording time it was ok the new one will give allot more freedom, those of you on the fence about purchasing, there is a new rental program coming out in the new year , so this give everyone the chance to try them out Sony or Canon spend a few bucks to rent and you'll know what you want, great thing about these cameras is they are all really good and comes down to choice for each individual, 👍

I saved for this camera but 4k60 with super 35 crop. I keep my money and go for the Canon r6 now

I currently own a GH5, this is my first "proper" camera. So i too am thinking of moving up to full frame. There are two good comparison videos from Dave Mckeegan and Mark Bennett that compare this a7IV to canons R6 and others in the price point. I would definitely not choose the R6 over this. They are both the same price, and although the R6 can shoot 20fps and have less of a crop in 4K 60, it falls short in a lot of other areas. And the worst part is the R6 is only 20 megapixels, and they aren't amazing pixels either with no better ISO performance and worse dynamic range than anything with Sony's now old 24mpix sensor. Don't even talk about lenses.

Price point seems to be a bit too high. Canon R6 is now the only option left for me. Thought I move to Sony, but the a 7 IV is a bit disappointing on a first view

@@mikey7326 At least here in Europe the R6 is much cheaper, including Canon‘s winter cashback. I have never heared that the RF lenses are worse than Sony‘s GM lenses. And the R6 has higher fps where Sony is really lagging. Colors seem also to be better.

@@michaelf7742 RF lenses not necessarily worse, but a lot more expensive and there's is the only option. And again the colour thing, the R5 might be similar but the R6 is way off, and not in a good way according to potatoejets review.

Anyone giving a testimonial on your channel like this is obviously a bigger plant than the old man in squid games.

Real question. How did you started to get paid for this work? Can you live out of this? I have the best equipment but always pay for my trips and don't know how to start capitalizing
