Been watching loads of videos on my new sony a7siii and learned a few new things from you on this one. Thankful you took the time to make this. 1: You can't record 120 fps and also capture proxies in camera 2: Audio doesn't work in S&Q mode Saved me from learning it the hard way on set! Thanks Kyle!!

Quick tip that for some reason a lot of professionals don't seem to mention or do at all... instead of needing like 10 batteries you can typically get away with 3 or 4 and just buy a 24,000mh battery pack and bring the chargers with, when one dies throw it on the charger. I do this and there's ALWAYS a charged battery in my rotation.

They fixed the previews for some things. You can see the clip thumbnail, but if it was shot in 60fps or 120fps, QuickTime can not playback the footage. A solution is to download VLC, which is free, and you can right click > open in > VLC media player. That’ll let you play back the clips, but if they in slo motion it’ll playback choppy. Which is find for quickly looking at the clips and doing file management etc.

It has been solved for video thumbnail previews, but you're not able to playback most of the files in Quicktime, You'll need to open in something like VLC for that. You're also not able to see the photo thumbnails in Finder either. Which is brutal and I hate it. My workaround for photo organization has been to have Lightroom's Import Dialog open on one screen, and Finder open on the other. Lightroom shows the photo and file name, and I use that to help me sort them into folders on Finder. Very not ideal...
