WHAT MONITER ARE YOU USING SIR ???
Im looking to buy my first camera, and im mostly leaning towards buying the Sony a6100. I know this camera is good for filming, but is it also good for photography? Would you recommend this for street photography specifically?

as someone who also has this cam and is new i forsure recommend, i paired my a6100 with the sigma 16mm 1.4 and its takes crazy good video and photos. only thing is camera nor the lens i recommend have stabilization so its not impossible to take photos and videos , ur just gonna have to learn to keep still and steady a little bit but other then that no other complaints , i love my camera

I have the a6100. I think it’s nice if you just want to take pictures/videos for memory or what not but I recommend you going with some of the Fujifilm cameras

I have never owned the a6100 but I do have an a6400. I highly recommend it for sure. If you're new, for street photography I would not only recommend a fast lens with f1.2 or f1.4 aperture but also preferably one with stabilization. Only the a6500 and a6600 have in body stabilization.

Kit lens can be good just try to keep the aperture low and master the EXPOSURE TRIANGLE

I personally think any of the 3 sigma trio is great, either the 16, 30, or 56 - my favourite being the 56 along with the Sigma 18-50 @@Kee.Sace3.0
