    I’ve been buying and recommending their guns for years. Glad people are starting to take note. Something you didn’t mention in the video that guys will appreciate -lifetime warranty on parts. Everything. That includes barrels. Not a lot of companies I know who will replace anything on the gun for life (regardless of owner) including the barrel. I doubt the average Joe will take advantage of that, but for the serious end user, it’s great.

    Bought an M4 Patrol model for my brother who is a cop for his duty rifle. I also have their BCGs and LPKs in my rifles. I'll be buying a few of their complete rifles soon. Very good quality components and well worth the love they put into the end product.

    Ive been watching your channel for years now. Welcome to SOLGW gun owners!! Thank you for doiing a great video on a rifle that people can trust there lives with and afford. I've got a few of there rifles and will be buying more. I also have had the privilege of taking the armorers course taught by Mike and his crew. Mike is the real deal when it comes to the knowledge of the Ar platform. They dont hide anything when it comes to how an Ar15 should be built and how it functions. Needless to say from now on all my rifles will either be built by SOLGW or I'll source my parts from SOLGW and put to good use of all the notes I took from the class . Great video's , thanks again for the no nonsince straight to the point reviews Sir looking forward to more. 👍👍👍👍

Couldn’t be happier with their products and being that Will has gone on to Valhalla, SOLGW stands out even more as I compare and contrast their product vs others. You truly can’t beat them for a no frills, built right, gonna keep going through the grit, duty rifle. SOLGW or Triarc if I didn’t have my Will Larson build.

    Aaron, have you tried the gemtech halo? The "newer" one that is lighter and attaches to the blank firing groove on a2 (and soooo many others) style flash hiders? It's is amazing. I'm a lefty shooter and only larue, OSS and Acadian armament have suppressor designs that really keeps the back pressure to a minimum on a mil spec setup and carbine or h buffer but when adding either the lantac ebcg (forward angked gas vents) or LMT ebcg (with the extended cam pin path), vltor a5 and heavier buffer with the gemtech Halo it adds little to no back pressure when compared to super corked up suppressors like the saker or KAC and even the higher pack pressured surefire cans. It is starting to become my favorite 5.56 dedicated can especially due to the variety of mounts. Anyone else running the newer or older Halos?

    @@AndrewAcosta82 I've never shot either but from what I've heard online from forums and reviews is that the edge goes to Triarc because of their barrels. Both companies essentially piece together the best parts, but Sons doesn't have anything special when it comes to barrels and Triarc has the Track 2.0 system, which is supposed to be more accurate and I think even creates a tighter seal on the bullet so the gas propels the bullet more. That last part might be forum nonsense...

    I love the upper(Exo2) that I bought from them. Unfortunately I didn't buy an entire rifle from them because I didn't want to deal with the bull shit Washington state is going through, just in case the rifle didn't come in before the law changed, so I bought my lower locally in order to get it before a new law went into effect. I've only be able to shoot about 100 rounds and it is by far my favorite rifle I own already, but it's also the rifle with all of the best things I could get without draining my bank account. lol. The Vltor A5 that I bought from SOLGW is a big improvement over the carbine receiver extension with a H2 buffer. The people that work their are amazing people and I'm so glad that I was added to P&S or I probably would have just "built" or bought an other lesser rifle.

  • @solhays

    @solhays

    4 жыл бұрын

    @Roman N The law I was referring to already went into effect. i1639 was the law. Changed every single semi auto rifle into an "assault rifle". A mental health wavier was added to rifle purchases as well. Pistols are that way already. Also, a mandatory 10 day waiting period for "assault rifles". So I bought a lower, which is considered "other" not a pistol or rifle. Recently they just changed the law and as of July 1st(I believe) they will no longer consider lowers as just "other" and will require a 10 day waiting period for those as well. Luckily for me, I bought the lower locally because the upper ended up talking longer than expected, had I bought the rifle all together I would have received it after the law went into effect.

  • @solhays

    @solhays

    4 жыл бұрын

    @Roman N Yeah, they are changing the law where you can't just walk out with a lower. It's going to be a 10 day waiting period and a waiver of medical records. I've got nothing to hide, I'm sure you don't either, it's just the principle of the matter. I don't think you can go wrong with either SOLGW(lifetime parts replacement is hard to beat as well) or Triarc or Sionics. I can't speak to the quality of the others myself, but I know they are all regarded as some of the best duty grade weapons. The A5 system isn't a BIG difference, but it's a good difference. If you are working with a budget, it might be one of the last things I worry about. Just my opinion though. It does help with recoil and reliability but it's not as important as a quality BCG, trigger, or lower parts kits. Your best bet is to get a matching BCG, LPK and trigger from any of those 3 listed.

    CutEmJack82 no. Brass ejection pattern alone is not indicative of over gassing. Also, even if the rifle was over gassed, is it cycling? Because if it is, then by definition it would be reliable albeit with excess gas.

    @@AndrewAcosta82 I just went with the Triarc Centrifuge Work Rifle for my battle rifle with the 13.9" barrel (waiting on delivery so I can't yet comment on how good it is). If SOLGW had their 13.7" in stock I would have gone with that but if you watch a couple videos on Triarc's KZread, you'll see their attention to detail is right there with SOLGW. Plus, their Track 2.0 barrels are supposed to be amazing. I'm thinking about creating a long-term series of videos of the rifle to document how it holds up to hard use as there's not much buzz on KZread of Triarc. I'm not much a fan of being in front of a camera so we'll see if I actually man up and do it. Lol

    It's awesome that SOLGW puts out well built products that are well built. However, it's odd to me that so many people seem to think this is something unique to SOLGW. There are lots of companies that will sell you a quality AR that doesn't fall apart for over $1500. Some of those companies will even include proprietary parts that are far superior to mil-spec.

    The SOLGW runs flatter with their NOX. That’s what I went with because I wanted to get a rifle with as much of their products put together. I’ll run a dead air can on it when it gets out of jail. I hope my SOLGW shows up in 6 weeks or so.

    I just recently bought Several complete lowers just do the legislation here in Washington State. Looks like it will pass. And the complete lowers that I have boughten all have been staked really well. Also have bought several bolt carrier groups. Cuz they were only $60 and the staking on these Has been done very well. I'm not saying that some of their stuff is not put together Well. I have a buddy who had one that look like somebody put together at at 4:59 and wanted to go home already. But you do get what you pay for. my go to weapons are complete FN rifles. Really Enjoy your channel is my favorite Channel on KZread. You guys have a great day out there.

    I’ve been leaning Triarc, but they’re definitely more of a “tuned” platform rather than SOLGW which seems to approach a more duty role. this is mostly exemplified by Triarc’s extremely small gas ports to reduce gas coming back, which might not handle the cheapest ammo as well as something with a larger port.
