I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences! Are you with Move 2 or sticking with Move 1?
I am a big fan of the original Sonos Move. I have a stereo pair and, when set up in the garden, are my favourite speakers. Today, in a rare break from what has felt like constant rain in the UK, I set up the stereo pairs of Moves side by side in the garden. Given my love of the Move 1's sound I was not expecting much difference. However… I was not prepared for the difference. The Move 2 are a massive audio improvement. There were so much better that I started to doubt why I ever thought the Move 1s were so good. Of course both are great and proof that unless you listen to decent audio components side by side you will likely be satisfied with what you have. That and the better battery life plus other improvements makes them a compelling buy.

So. My biggest thing is the bass. How does the bass sound on the Move 2’s vs. the Move 1’s? I love how warm the Move 1’s sound. Very deep bass. In the sound samples that I’ve heard over KZread the Move 2’s don’t seem to have as much low end!!

@@renardfields2975 It's as good in the Bass area as the Move 1s. I'd say even better. I can't stress how much better the move 2 sounded compared to the excellent 1's.
The sound separation between the 1 and 2 is quite remarkable actually. Plus double battery life makes it quite an interesting buy 🤔
What about in stereo pair? Was there a significant difference?
Between move2 and jbl authentics 300 which one you think is a better option on sound quality? Thanks
As a portable speaker, the 20-24 hours of battery life is a-ma-zing, more than double of its 1st gen!
