High frequencies are much easier to absorb. Play a drums set with toms and the kick drum. I guarantee he will hear the low frequencies.

@@sonopan_msl i had the same observation..so where ARE the tests in an environment that isn't a 4ft x 4 ft box? Let's hear drums in a room with 7 or 8 foot ceilings and see how it does on the floor above.
