A player taking accountability for their issues, its so damn refreshing I could cry

This team doesn't remotely have it. The Cardinals have zero chance of getting back to elite status without tearing the team down and rebuilding with a new GM. Arenado and Goldy need to be traded, clear payroll and start the rebuild. Is the goal of this franchise to battle for the last WC spot? We used to be all in on pursuing the World Series. Just start over with new leadership.

I think the main problem is that they were not aggressive enough in Arenado and Goldy's prime years. That has shut and now we are treading water.

I respect the honesty. Him and Arenado care a lot about the Cardinals.

A little more production from both Arenado and Gray might convince me that they really care. Talk is cheap.

The Brewers have to be laughing right now, they had the day off yesterday and still gained ground on the Cardinals. Cardinals lose to a team that was 22/40 coming in. A 4 game split or losing 3/4 with Colorado would indicate they are going to be sellers instead of buyers at the deadline. I thought the series with the White Sox was bad (Sox are 7/24 since beating the Cards at home) but not taking care of business against Colorado would a new low.

Let’s see; losing at home to a, then 20-40 team, with the worst ERA in the game. Having the historically worst batting average with runners in scoring position, as well as the worst defense in the game is simply, glaringly indicative of a deeply flawed team and organization. I keep hoping we’ve seen the low water mark, but no. Reality check on Sonny Gray; when he’s on, he’s elite, when not, we see where the trend is going. Hitters need to emulate Masyn’s approach and drive the ball where it’s fixed. Go Cardinals. Losing suuuuuuuucks. Have a great weekend. Be nice out there/
