not really, I think the scene is bigger now , but it's actually hard to stay consistent in NRS games they change so much every game, cz Tekken 7 and 8 not so much difference if u had a main in tekken 7 let's say Nina it's easy to stay good with her in Tekken 8 ,but if u look at kung lao mk11 hes very different in mk1

yeah competition got better but I think Sonic using 4 different characters over the span if the entire tournament is “destroying” the competition in its own right. Sonic could have totally just went with the top tier meta and completely dominated but that is boring… instead dude’s beating other people’s mains with side characters
