I didn't really see any advantages the Lao hat gave her besides a little more zoning.
There are more stuff I couldn’t show tech wise because I wanted to upload broseph sets. I will show more tech in the next upload. Also I want you to understand that the small small thing add up! Lao gives you a mix with the Tanya F211. Aside that it stop enemies far away from either charging, throwing projectiles or zone you. Lao charges up super quick and the pressure keeps going. Lao offer a launcher that can be used if you have no meter into a 35% combo! Lao offers setups with Tanya, free jump ins! Broseph and I played 20+ games and in the first 5 games I was on Kham which I lost all until I switched to Lao kameo and won the next 5 games as well. Simply means Changing game style with kameos changes the game pacing greatly!
Let me show you this tech as well, if you put the Lao hat down and do stand 3 into teleport, it’s so hard for the opponent to block the Lao hat. And if they duck they can’t still punish because of the Lao hat coming from below. Try it and see

I think Kano is definitely viable for tanya comparatively to goro he adds combo conversions and better neutral id say, but goro is a lot quicker for stuff like the armored launcher and reacting to when you need him, personally my second favorite kameo to use with tanya is lao, i think lao is super strong for tanya

@@XharkXlayer yeah that's true, but you gotta call kano like when you do ex db4 for the armored launcher while with goro you can take your sweet time lol, the recharge is also noticable when I play kano for sure, hes a good variety pick for when goro gets boring

Funny part no these ppl actually play li mei she literally can get in easy and has one of the best and fastest armor moves in the game that combos into 40% just one special and scorpion over and over she’s an easy character in general.
Her armor is terrible. Completely unsafe, doesn't lead to combo (unless you're in the corner). Li Mei is mid. She does have a great damage, but also have a horrible mid and confirms.

Yes used to happen to me myself when I started but consistent practice and you should be fine. I use Medium input window as well

Sorry mate but li mei sucks especially in this matchup. She basically has no neutral and is extremly risk heavy. So if you play it lame and keep her at a range where her buttons dont hit you (so basically any range except right next to each other) you'll win

It seems like Tanya doesn’t really need what Kano gives her. The damage isn’t a lot and the safe armor isn’t as good as a launching armor
I feel like there’s more to what you just said. Kano is amazing for Tanya. Safe armor launcher yes! Armor launcher conversion, safe jump in, free charge, constant pressure and some mix. Tanya definitely need those tools
I've never seen Kano used like this. It's usually just Raiden cell storm into Kano ball over and over. Definitely trying this in the morning!
Yes people don’t experiment and that’s the issue. When you try something new you find amazing stuff. Kano with Tanya is so fun and provides a lot of tools. Lao and Tanya also really good
@@XharkXlayer I will try Kano a little later today. Jax is another kameo I never tried but messed with a little yesterday and he's decent with Tanya too, combo extensions and setups with his ground pound and Tanya EX air fireball. Thanks for the ideas! Good vid! 👍🏼
