Had the pleasure to partner with Sega to create a video to promote the release of Sonic Frontiers' release! Pretty awesome to be able to animate this character, and especially the little Kocos from the game.

Thank you kindly! Well Sega supplied me with game models of Sonic and Giganto, so that was a big help. But it was basically a combination of motion capture I created myself and applied to Sonic, Giganto, and the Kocos. And then I just also spent a bunch of time creating the environment using references from watching gameplay videos, and eventually from buying the game myself. Was a process for sure, and I was ready to give up halfway through but I’m really happy with how it came out.

@@MannyUzuki Also Virtua Sonic is a great Fan-Made Sonic VR game, has a couple levels and the mechanics are setup for VR. It's pretty fun! But yes, intense lol.
Fun fact: in sonic X season 2 episode 6 when fighting chaos that happened in sonic adventure also!

Thanks for sharing that and thank you for the kind words! I guess my last few videos haven’t been as engaging for the audience, and I also haven’t been able to post as frequently. None of those factors have really helped me with the algorithm. I’m hoping to get things back on track this year.

I wasn’t sure what was happening, so I type in your name and saw there were a bunch of videos I hadn’t seen yet. 😫 It’s not fair to creators that we actively stay engaged with should go missing from our homepage/recommendations.

I am sorry for the people that got motion sick in not only this animation, but also the game itself. They happily made motion sickness settings for you guys, and I'm happy that more people can enjoy this experience.
It's like a theme park! That would be so fun! I can see why Sonic likes to grind the rails, doing that all the time would be a rush~
