I love how In the mirror scene. Modern Sonic doesn't instantly go against Eggman because the last time he saw Eggman was during the end of Colours. So he hasn't seen Eggster recently, but Classic has, so he goes first.

actually, i think he reacts like that because at this point modern sonic is do experienced and has beaten eggman so much that hes started to see him as less of a threat hence the annoyed look he gives. meanwhile classic sonic still sees him as a threat that needs dealt with immediately since hes only beaten him twice or thrice at this point

I think it also has to do with his attitude, as a younger sonic he is more irresponsible and energetic so he immediately goes after eggman

Since Amy was always lustful to Sonic, I'm not surprised when the characters are on their days off saving the day, Sonic deliberately ignores Amy and her obsessive fangirl and attitude and funny enough, this was the last game that Amy was obsessed with Sonic and after that, she was either noticeably hiding it like in Sonic Boom or giving Sonic more space and being a caring friend but still having deep feelings

Classic Tails didn't talk in the classic games either, but I don't understand why he speaks now and not poor Classic Sonic.

Robotnik: Who are they?? Eggman: They are insignificant! I can't even argue with that. Any Sonic character that isn't Sonic is just moral support

God damnit is classic tails adorable, and the interaction he has with modern Sonic is awesome. Makes sense too since he always sonic as his hero.

Actually did you know... You get different perspectives in Through the Glass and saving ppl by completing stages depending which Sonic your using

I like how both Sonics are similar but different. The newer sonic is taller and a deeper blue with green eyes. And he can talk, at least verbally.

came back to this after the announcement and i love the little differences in reaction/demeanor classic sonic and modern sonic have. classic is newer to all of this and is faster react but a little more visibly unsure, surprised and concerned, he's also not used to going super and hasn't figured out how to use all his powers as is. meanwhile modern sonic is a bit slower to react/bounce back at some points, but seems way more sure of himself, relaxed and amused by everything, since he's been doing all of this for so long now and has definitely gotten used to high stakes, and he eases straight into being super sonic after all this time. but they're still equal and hype eachother up. it's such a great bit of detail and i adore it

I remember playing the demo for the game on the Xbox 360 and asked my mom for the game and she came back with the game man I had amazing times with the game it went back further to when I was 4 or 5 renting the 3ds version from the library and playing it on my brothers 3ds making it my first sonic game

I realized the model in game for Classic Sonic is different than his model in the trailer and some of his renders. The one in game resembles the Japanese box art Sonic while the other looks a little bit familiar to the American box art Sonic.
