My favorite part was the fight between Eggman and Starline. Also seeing Eggman completely demolish Starline both physically and mentally was a treat. It really makes you remember why he is Sonic's number one nemesis.

I just love the fact that Eggman officially EARNED his IQ of 300 in this issue. In spite of all the short-sightedness he tends to show in some of the games...well, like a wise man once said "Still waters run deep."

eggman isnt short sighted. it's like a game. he wants to prove that he can beat sonic with only his genious alone, and event purpously making weakpoints in his design to further flex on sonic if he can atill beat him xD

As a Starline fan and someone who voiced Starline in these videos, I’m gonna miss this crazy platypus man. He was a blast to voice!

I’m glad they portrayed Eggman as an actual genius in this.

What’s sad is that even if Starline defeated Eggman he would’ve still been stoped by Sonic and Tails and if they somehow lost to Surge and Kit then the imposters would have just murdered Starline as they planed

Yknow, even when he was "defenseless" he still had control of the massive swarm of Badniks, which he could have had swarm after everyone. All he had to do was escape, he was still in control.

Woah. This whole thing was beautiful. Just so beautiful. My favourite parts were with Kitsunami. The emotion in his voice, his coldness and later vulnerability with Tails? Before the dub came out, the Kitsunami “fight” was my favourite. This dub only made me love it more

I have a feeling that sonic leaving surge to die is exactly why kit won't stick with them, especially because surge was important to him and hadn't done anything wrong in his eyes. Same goes for surge if they end up living just due to the fact nobody came to help, reinforcing her view that she was rejected and/or abandoned by the world.

He didn't leave her for dead if someone fell down from that height into an abyss you would assume they're not alive as well.

(At 7:20) I also find it a little touching from Tails experience, he's trying to reach out for Kit (just like Sonic did for him, in a way), who NEEDS help and is emotionally unstable. Kind of makes me wonder, if kid DOES side Tails, will it be a long-term thing. Also, I can't tell if Kit is younger than Tails (Miles "Tails" Prowler being 8 years old) or if he's shorter than Tails (Tails being a Yellow Fox? And Kit being a Fennec Fox)?

I believe it was Evan Stanley who confirmed that Kit is a little bit older than Tails. It was never confirmed just how much though.

Prolly the best one yet. Espically Doctor Starline, Kit, Sonic, Surge and Eggman, aka most of the characters. Everyone else had great voice acting for them too of course. But bro, Eggmans "You played yourself" speech was so fucking raw, and even more here because of its delivery

This was so cool ! The VA did such an amazing job with the characters voices and Personality, I'm glad that DarkCloudVA added a bit more of a tone for Kitsunami when fighting tails !

(At 17:10) I do hope Kit does acknowledge Tails like an older brother… he really needs.

They really need to animate Eggman's body slam of poor Dr. Starline.

I love how Surge calls sonic out on his morel code cause in a case rather Sonic doesn’t want to believe it or not shadow was right eggman needs to be taken down ( not locked up in jail or anything like that ) he just needs to go

Shadow would defeat her in less than 5 minutes, because knowing Shadow, he does take his duty as a hero seriously and will do anything to defend the weak, even if that means taking the lives of villains for the greater good. , something that Sonic considers wrong and unfair at the same time, because knowing Sonic, he always lets the villains escape regardless of the consequences or crimes the enemy has committed. And you know, the speech he says to Surge reminds me of the last words of Android 16 from Dragon Ball Z, which say that there will always be opponents who will never understand with words and you will have to leave your principles for the greater good whether you like it or not. No, something that Sonic considers unfair and wrong because he always thinks about himself and believes that everyone can change, but there are villains like Shredder from TMNT 2003 and 2012, Carnage, Freddy Krueger, Darkseid, Lich from Adventure Time, the elf Green, Joker or Dio do not deserve to be forgiven for their crimes.

This battle is going to be very intense now!

Freedom Planet, Final Boss Theme!

I got curious about this Surge character, stumbled across this... and I'm enjoying it~ the voice acting is pretty good, though, there's certainly some awkward editing cuts - mostly with the sound/bgm. Still, this is very enjoyable.

Kitsunami sounds kind of like Inuyasha.

Eggman sounds like Gruncle Stan

3:16 to 4:02 ya know, this character's speech would've been so good if this was in the Archie Universe. I heard this issue was really controversial when it came out and I was waiting for someone to dub this because I'm legally blind so I couldn't read it myself.

Dude, I need that rigged Surge model. I have some picture that I wanna make with her and Kitsunami. Hopefully this one doesn't uses Shapekeys. The program I use can't port Shapekeys.

Arc would have been better if Surge wasn't a complete non-threat who barely beat robots yet the doc thinks she could do crap to Sonic. Entire arc felt pointless. Sonic learnt nothing, Eggman learnt nothing, Serge is weak, blue tailed the rip-off explicitly needs the Doc to 'maintain his upgrades' so even he'll be weak later

Hmm what if shadow and sonic can beat together

Starlines loss feels ungenuine and reads to much like plot armor or going back to the status quo. if he had won it could have made Eggman go back to the drawing board and look over advice given by starline in the past, making him an even more deadlier villain. Having to reflect on his loss he would have to see the flaws in most of his plans. Starline could have at least gotten an 80 percent win forcing the doctor in to hiding. For a period Starline could have been the reigning villain, bringing a breath of fresh air to the usual stick. Surge and kit are a good example of what could have been his legacy and with time we could seen a whole starline faction built from single win alone. And eventually ROBOTNIK would return (Im not a starline fan I just feel he was cheated in a way the doesn't feel consistent)

Starline is dead...
