I have high hopes for this one. Frontiers seemed like a big step forward from Forces. Hopefully we're entering an era of a Sonic comeback.

This looks adorable, and I love the customization, hope we can use those custom looks in the main story as well! I'm a bit concerned about the Screen being a bit small for the Speed, but we'll see how those limits will turn out in practice! Battle Mode looks like a fun side mode!

I'm curious to see how multiplayer translates into a Sonic game. Sonic is always about speed, so what happens if a player gets ahead or falls behind? It's a different beast than a Mario game, which has a more relaxed pace.

I think perhaps the players falling behind will be carried along as long as it isn't an automatic scroller level where they get crushed by the screen.

Back in those days, screens were 4:3 and the system's resolution was very low. Nowadays, with wide screens and 1080p/4K, you can see further ahead and zoom out more, so it's probably much more enjoyable.

The music is honestly amazing, but I do wonder... We've heard the theme before but it sounds so much more lively and everything, so its either the version of the track we have heard is not final or this is the act 2 version of the song

Kirby’s Return to dreamland and it’s great port on the Switch also doesn’t have Online Multiplayer. The reason why this game and Kirby’s return to dreamland and Kirby’s return to dreamland deluxe doesn’t have online multiplayer, Is because it’ll cause it to lag, Even if someone is far away and even if this game has cross-play. So Sega doesn’t have a choice.

@@Unknown_User174 There's nothing stopping them from putting online in this game, there's online co-op in Sonic 4 Episode 2. And also many other sidescroller games have online, like 20XX and Super Mario Maker 2 (and no the latter's lag isn't a fundamental problem, it's a Nintendo online problem as most of their online games have that problem on there)
