As a child, we all had the Nintendo 2ds or 3ds and for my christmas day, I had a copy of sonic rush adventure. It was one of the highlights from my christmas day back then. Idk what in the world happened to my 2ds and the game but I miss it 😫 if I could just go back 1 more time to get an S rank on sky Babylon then I would be the happiest boy and have truly beaten the game. I miss you sonic adventure rush 😭

These Sonic rush fan games are amazing in their own rights; shout out to the creators! Only thing is (which I'm sure they are working on, hopefully) is adding Blaze the cat to thier games. Main rush series games were made with Blaze the cat in mind. Without Blaze, you can't really consider theses true rush games. Hopefully she returns one day in the main line sonic games and not just a cameo...

Vs darkness is so fire, and i love that they use that satisfying sound effects from sonic unleashed wii

The version of Sonic vs. Darkness is an old version. I think they are working on a new version of it but only has a playable shadow. Sonic is coming later

The rush games are some of my favorite games of all time. The sense of speed and movement was so buttery smooth it was like makin' luv. The one major criticism I have for these fan games is the homing attack. In 3D games doing a homing attack sends you upward to reorient yourself for platforming, but in a 2D space there's no real need for that and just slows you down. When you do a homing attack in Rush you're free to keep you're momentum.

Dimensions was my first Rush style Sonic! just 100% it and unlocked Hyper Sonic loving this gameplay!

The only boost styled sonic games I loved when I was younger was rush games cause they made me feel like I was rushing through the levels and showing off and I really hope the rush style games make a come back this year

Personaly, I'm a fan of Wii Unleashed, I think it's a really cool game, and it's really nostalgic to me. Obviously, it's not as good as HD Unleashed, but it's a worthy experience.

See what a lot of Sonic fans don't realize, is that while the console games were trucking along being "meh" or decent, to "Eh, I don't know about this one bruh" from after Heroes to Unleash, the portable Sonic Games were banging hard on doors like "AY BRO! I'M THE SHIT, PLAY ME!" The Advance Trilogy, while not universally agreed upon being amazing, were all really solid, and the Rush games were both spectacular. So much so that Unleash chose to take the mechanics of Rush and bring that to HD consoles, which would later become The Style of Sonic gameplay in the modern era. We would not have any of that if not for the team at DIMPS, who developed every portable Sonic game, from Advance to Sonic Lost World, and Unleashed Wii and PS2 (it's actually not bad, doesn't care to the HD version, but it's really just that the stages are cut more to feel smaller instead the long ass slog they can be in the HD Night Stages, you could argue that Unleashed's Day Stages are better in HD while the Night Stages play better in the Wii/PS2 game)

The Starlight Speedway music is from the game Sonic Heroes called BINGO Highway.

Sonic rush is my favorite use of boost formula. It would be awesome if they did momentum based 3d games with no 2d at all and then a sonic rush styled 2d game with boost and tricks.

The advance games And sonic battle and the storybook games are being slept on. Those games are elite. And still are Star fox is good too the games needed more resignation.

I think Spark the Electric Jester series is super slept on. It has made one of the best 3d speed platformers

You were right blaze was first introduced in sonic rush that’s why she was confused when they thought sonic was the Iblis Trigger in 06

Also yes bro gravity rush is slept on 1 and 2 are great games I still play 2 I just love the gameplay even when not doing quest I just like to fly around with kat.

Correction again. In Rush Adventure Blaze and Sonic Knows Each Other and is in her dimension This Time, since she went back at the end of Rush 1, So Its A Sequel not starting over again.

The people that don’t like boost just don’t press the boost button no one said that you have to use it. It just makes you faster that’s all.

Loki, you played the old version of Sonic VS. Darkness, but I think Nefault1st is working on a new version, but somebody might need to refresh my memory. I believe the new version will have a playable Shadow and Sonic will come later. But could you imagine if we do online multiplayer at some point? Somebody would be Sonic and somebody else would be Shadow, and online 1v1 racing is gonna be NUTTY if the online multiplayer update happens at some point. But we'll wait and see.

I'm Here is based, sure the other songs are hype, but it's the main theme of the game. You can't really compare it to the boss themes of the game, it has a different purpose than they do. I love the lyrics and the melody, and it will never not give me chills.

I'd argue Zone of The Enders was underrated. Same goes for Ever Oasis (which isn't a series, per se, but still,) Dragon Ball Fusions, and I'll throw in Daemon X Machina because why not. (Though, that game's story could be better, but it's getting a sequel, so...) Sonic Rush was my first Sonic game, as a matter of fact. And probably my second game in general, as I got Mario 64 DS on the same day: Christmas.

Shadow’s game is such a guilty pleasure of mine. Yeah, it does have flaws, but the choose your own adventure style as a concept is fun. And the combination of gunplay and Chaos Powers really set Shadow apart from just being a Sonic clone. Also, no I’m not that big of a boost formula fan. Everything feels too “on rails” in terms of gameplay and level design. I want to play as other characters with other gameplay styles. And when I am playing as Sonic or someone with his style, I want to EARN my speed fix.

Are any of these rush games if Blaze isn't in any of them? ;P

When it comes to boost... I love it, but I'd rather watch someone skilled do it than actually play it myself. To me, Sonic games are all about maintaining a flow; getting from point A to point B in style without messing up. I can't say I have the skills to consistently pull that off, but when you actually see it being done? Hell yeah.
