What if we just call the genre Tails Doll with a Gun? He'll make a cameo in every film within the genre. Kinda like Stan Lee

Honestly makes me want to try it out again. I can tell how much fun you're having with these videos and I hope they'll start getting more popular with how well the Creepypasta videos did. @@loucapit I spent a surprising amount of time playing this in multiplayer with friends. It can be a lot of fun, partially because of the wonky controls.

Ahhh, Sonic R. I do think fondly of this game. I think Sega and TT had a great idea, that should’ve been explored better. If they did what you said with a sequel/remake, and took advantage of the characters’ moves, along with bringing in a ton of new courses and characters like Shadow, Blaze, Mighty, and the Chaotix, we could have a true gem on our hands. Also, I’m with you on Tails Doll. He’s practically the new Mighty with how neglected he is, and I sincerely hope we see him back again some day. Although back when I was 10 or 11, the fandom’s interpretation gave me the heebie jeebies. Fun fact: Sonic R was helped made by Traveller's Tales, a company that would later be known for creating all the Lego video games. There’s even a Tails Doll cameo in Lego Dimensions!

First: yeah it's really unfortunate that that's never going to come about. I feel like Sonic R conceptually could've been really neat if expanded upon, but Sega seems really uninterested in doing anything with Sonic R as a whole. Second: Tails Doll really is a Might type situation, though I doubt Tails Doll will ever get his "Sonic Mania Plus." XD Third: Huh, for real. Didn't know that. (Besides the Tails Doll cameo.)

I agree, Sonic R could of been better and I like your ideas! I wish it was more possible for me to win a race and YES I NEED A GUN

Honestly, I think Tails Doll should atleast get a cameo. Same with metal knuckles. The idea of a non-robotic chaos emerald controlled character and a non-sonic robot character are both real cool.

I like this channel because you always spread not only your honest opinions on games, but you also explain why you have those opinions. And even if you talk about a game that you think is bad, you still point out the things it did right instead of hurling insults and hate at it. And I just really respect that.

Yeah I just tend to like talking positively about things I guess. If I gotta spend time on something, even if it's just a couple things, I try to find something to enjoy about a game I'm talking about. Though at some point I will have a video that's a little less positive, but it's not really on a game per se. You'll probably get it when you see it.

I think a Sonic racing game with a concept similar to R would DEFINITELY work, mostly bc Sonic constantly says he’s on a car bc it’s even for the rest of characters to be on a race which is sad bc everyone has different abilities that could be exploited for really cool tracks and gameplay mechanics. Also with a Soundtrack like R’s please 🥺 Living in the City and Diamonds in the Sky are my favorites

Huh. Maybe I should look into this. I do kind of want to know the Sonic R development history a bit more.

I'm still hoping for a Sonic R sequel. Where they just fix all bad things about the original, add more stages, maybe more character and make every character feel unique.

I think a big part of why the course design being made around the different characters' abilities is such a weird feature to lack isn't just for the obvious reasons, but also because that's exactly what they did with Sonic 3 (& Knuckles). Each zone had routes built in for each character, ranging from bosses and almost entire acts that only one character experienced, to small things like walls only Knuckles could break, or giant rings only Tails could reach. Granted, doing that not only in a 3D space, but with way more than just three characters in mind, would be considerably more difficult, but the point stands, Sonic R would be much better if they took the Sonic 3 approach to course design. (Also, while I agree that Tails Doll needs to come back, I really want to see Metal Knuckles again. I mean, look at him, such a badass character design to only put into a racing game.)

To be honest back in the day that creepypasta scared the crap out of me especially those prove videos that many poeple made then but now looking back at it i was a really stupid kid. so yeah now i own 2 sega Saturn's an the game in my collection and I have to say i actually enjoy the game like alot, i play trough it like every couple of months and it is always nice going back to it even if the control are really really hard to get used too. but when you manage the controls you have a verry fun game with an amazing soundtrack

It's funny because I also return to this game every so often for some reason. (Though on the Gems port, because I am not rich enough to afford a Saturn and the game. XD)

I kinda like this game, or, at least, really respect it's developers. It would have been easier to make a Mario kart clone, and it's unfortunate that Sega would do that in the future, but this time, they tried. They failed, but they really had something going here. Even if much potential got wasted, I would rather see that than none at all. Hey, maybe someone will eventually take this idea and make a great game out of it. I might even do it... if I ever learn to program

Some of the fear about the doll came from the comics.

Sadly I didn't encounter Tails Doll's inclusion in the comic until very recently.

They need to remaster the game. And fix the controls

The game had a very rushed development. The game was made from the ground up in 8 months on the Saturn, one of the hardest consoles to develop for.

I remember when I was but a wee lad, I went to get my eyes checked, dilated, prepped up for them good 'ol glasses, my dad and I went to Walmart, because that's pretty much our mall where we are. We ended up picking up a collection called "Sonic Action 4 pack" which came with the Sonic and Knuckles Collection 1-3, Sega Smash Pack 2, Sonic R, and Sonic CD. I could share countless memories with all those alone, but I most loved Sonic CD and some titles in Smash pack. Buuuuut, of course this was how I was introduced to Sonic R, and I agree man. It was a mess. However, it was a fun mess, especially in Multiplayer, because I'd often play that game with my brothers, and we'd all rush to 100 percent one file, and I'll conclude here to avoid writing a book. In the end - better game, better memories, better pizza, Papa Johns.

Metal Knuckles is God tier. He is so much faster than anyone (other than Super Sonic)

Yeah I found out about the comics later, and honestly it's kinda cool they took inspiration from the actual creepypasta for it, but I also want him to appear in the games again as well.

Metal Knuckles returned in Sonic Advance 1 as a boss.

Tbh I don't really find Tails Doll scary. I don't really like creepypasta's that much in general so that might be why.
