A showcase of the final build of The Misfits Pack before the project was put on hold in late 2022. The last overall work committed to the repository on any piece of the actual project was August 9th, 2022.
An enjoyable take on Marble Zone, it thankfully doesn't fall into the same trappings as Labyrinth's Act 1 in this mod, creating a Marble Zone distinctly less frustrating than the original incarnation. Unfortunately however, like Collision Chaos Zone, the 2nd act has basically not been started at all (though apparently it had some work done, just never pushed to the Git repository...), meaning the zone never gets fully fleshed out through a major remixing. It has more complete tiling than CCZ though, showing some interesting visual concepts even from the very little we have. Marble Act 1 clearly hasn't been as polished as some of the other stuff seen in public builds, as there's cases of weird collision and broken graphics for gimmicks, but generally the foundations are here and work well. The slightly 'off' hurtboxes found in Taxman and Stealth's Retro Engine works make for annoying spike crushers that are always put far too close to the ground, but beyond that I don't have any major issues with the level design.
