Sonic Mania Battle (fka. Sonic Mania Re-imagined) is a collection of Mods for Sonic Mania Plus, created by Fr1k.

The mod here features various stage & character mods made by various creators. To be specific, both Mighty & Ray are replaced with Shadow & Silver, Hard Boiled Heavies are replaced by some iconic rivals, and a few notable stages such as Seatide Hill, Tidal Tempest, and even Coral Cave are included.

What's part of the update to be exact?
Besides the name change, some improvements towards some character sprites, mainly with Sonic & Shadow to bring more fluidity. Plus, improvements with some backgrounds.

I don't think I'm really feeling this mod. The sprites are good, but I'm not much of a fan of the soundtracks because some are the same, and others are different but don't fit well with the theme. I understand if the update was meant for general fixes, but the zones could've at least been redesigned or changed. Hopefully, the next update can rework a couple of things if doing so will be possible. Great upload man

It's a remix of Stardust Speedway: Present from the Japanese version of Sonic CD, but I have a feeling you already knew that and were asking which remix it is exactly... I'm not sure, but I'll let you know if I find out!

It’s not a hack, it’s a mod for sonic mania. It runs on PC, which is the original hardware.
