Perfect Chaos was mentioned in the Japanese manual for Sonic 3. When Death Egg crashed into Angel Island and crashed into the sea, Knuckles thought it was the egg of a "legendary dragon they destroyed civilization" many many years ago. Aftwr discovering Chaos Emerald energy on the island, Dr Eggman said he was there to do research on the egg and tricked Knuckles into thinking Sonic was on his way to steal the Emeralds The Echidna clan didn't injure one Chao. They killed them all when the clan charged Chaos didn't just kill all of the Echidna clan...he destroyed much of their society. Some survived, and were humbled. Tikal even says such during the Super Sonic battle with his Perfect form. Mystic Ruin was the former land that the Angel Island used to sit atop before it floated into the sky

Imagine Chaos in the sonic movie. It would be a great way to explore more of the Echidna, the chaos emeralds, and of course introduce characters like Big, Amy, and Omega. I honestly wish they teased Chaos in the post credit scene instead of **SPOILERS** Shadow the Hedgehog

@@TsunayoshiSawadaTenth My best bet is that they'll reserve shadow for a later sequel, set him up for a later flick and do more on the first adventure game. It'd make more sence and not make such a plotline go to waste

Chaos wasn’t thinking rationally like you said. They killed his babies. He was insane with grief. It was this grief that destroyed station square. I can’t imagine losing my family and then being imprisoned for 4000 years in the worst emotional pain possible. Can you blame chaos for losing his mind? Those chai were his children and they weren’t just injured they were killed.

The ultimate force of destruction originating from a Chao some how makes complete sense. It’s often the most cute and adorable ones that will snap on you lol

Eggman Learned about chaos from his grandfathers diary. It is known he was experimenting with artificial chaos in the ark. He knew about the existence of of chaos within the emerald. The death egg and the plot of sonic 3 maybe have also been a result of eggman studying his grandfathers diary

Yeah is confirmed, in the Japanese version of Sonic Adventure when Chaos transform in Perfect Chaos for the first time, you can hear a suffering chao noise

Fun fact: in sonic frontiers there is a fishing mini game in cyberspace and you can get tokens to buy stuff. One of those items are egg memos and in egg memo 11 eggman says that the acients are relatives of chaos and they were aliens that brought the chaos emeralds 10s of thousands of years ago. And no not all of them are as bad as chaos.

So Chaos is a mutated Chao?, I thought that one animated parody made up that concept, didn’t know that. So Sonic and co fought a mutated Chao this entire time.

You know I JUST recently thought of this recently (stupid me), but you ever notice how Chaos and Sonic seem to resemble eachother? Blue body. Green Eyes. Down Spines. Heck it's been regarded (in Archie at least) that Sonic himself is a "living embodiment of Chaos itself". Could there be some sort of connection?

Originally, in sonic 2, angel, south, and westside we're all one island. But as you said, the echidnas angered chaos and chaos broke the island in 3. That's why in the Japanese manuals, the resting place for the emeralds was all 3 islands. They later scrapped this however.

Well there’s also that brief addition that Chaos now only appears in moments of destruction or disaster on Sonic Battle, but. I’m not sure if that adds anything

Every time you said perfect chaos I wished that chaos 0 was his most powerful form and that chaos started the chaos games

Oh no, I recorded gameplay clips from the ps3 port of Sonic Adventure. Any of the cutscenes came from youtube.

If not for chaos, there would be no metal overlord, therefore no sonic heroes

Yeah now we know that chaos was apart of a master race of a highly advanced civilization and not just some manifestation of the master emerald's negative energy. It's also interesting that the chaos emeralds are native to their lost land but we still don't know who or what created them. Gods prolly

Sonic vs chaos is 2 gods fighting to the death. Is this what the ancient echidna’s had in mine? By the way I think chaos is Sonics dad, and I have a deep explanation to how this is. Sonic does not have hedgehog parents or real parents in general, instead he was summoned by both the master and chaos emeralds by Tikal and chaos in the emerald to protect the planet, and that is why he has such a connection to chaos energy beyond even what shadow has.
