Base form Sonic defeating Perfect Chaos is actually way more impressive. Perfect chaos uses all the energy that the 7 chaos emeralds can output because the emeralds are gray. In the original Japanese script for Sonic Adventure 2, it is said that the eclipse canon at its full power could pierce through a star. This should be comparable to Perfect Chaos because they both use the chaos emeralds for their power. Sonic is able to take attacks from Perfect Chaos and he can power through his chaos powered body. If anybody has any information that I’m getting wrong, please tell me.

A lot of people underestimate Sonic because he's a cartoon hedgehog, but he has some feats that are far more impressive than a lot of other popular characters. Also you really should read through Archie Sonic, IMO it's the action series that Sonic X should've been, even if it stars out rough.

If you was paying attention while playing Sonic 06 sonicsta, or read the manual it stated Super Sonic is more than powerful enough to defeat Solaris 1v1 and he was powerful enough to banish his Flames, and Sonic only needed help because Sonic couldn't be everywhere at once, he wanted to take down Solaris as quickly as possible so each hedgehog had to go to the past, present, and future respectively to defeat Solaris, so in each timeline they fought Solaris on their own and beat him because that's the only way to stop him for good, edit that in for your video. The guides stated that Super Sonic is stronger than Solaris in a 1v1. Super Sonic>>>Solaris.

Solaris exists in the past, present and future simultaneously, and Silver's future is a separate timeline made clear when saving Elise as Sonic did nothing to prevent Silver's fucked up future. Solaris is basically omnipresent through time, there's nothing stating that each timeline is the same, that's head cannon. However the statement DID make a small error about Sonic being the only one to beat Solaris. Except Sonic has demonstrated to be able to blitz Solaris and crack his armor open, so the statement is only supporting what it is in game. Silver and Shadow are there to fight Future Solaris and Past Solaris to defeat it faster.

"Light speed attack" is just a fancy name, just like "lightsaber". He is going faster than usual but not at light speed. Its just a charged up spindash that allows him to do instant combos. They could have easily called it supersonic dash but considering he can use it with and without the emeralds it would make no sence. They could have also called it hypersonic dash but then technically the same problem would come up again. Additionally hyper sonic isnt even confirmed to be canon.

Yes sonic is one of the strongest video game characters ever and I'm glad he is slowly starting to get his respect in that area because he's been downplayed so many times by people, and not to start a war but Sonic is stronger and above kirby in every way, kirby is still very powerful in his own right.

I'm gonna be honest. After he faught dark gaia, it seemed as though nothing could stand in sonic's way aside from time eater. A being who in and of itself was extremely powerful. The deadly six, nega wisp armor, infinite with the phantom ruby, etc. None of the sonic villains proved too much for base form sonic. You can make the argument that the custom hero was able to take on infinite as well, so he can't be THAT powerful. I would need to remind you that the only reason that was is because the custom hero had a defective phantom ruby, which was disrupting the orginal phantom ruby specifically. Talking about all of that makes me wish sonic forces was made so much better than it was

@@backslash_bks I'm talking about Erazor in base. He already absorbed half of the book before fighting Sonic. The book has 1001 universes in it, complete with infinite space and astral planes. No Super is stronger but not to much stronger. They are close but Super is slightly stronger.

Don't forget that even if he couldn't outrun that blackhole he still tanked the damage. He can also resist existence errasure from the Start of Sonic Generations Also also. He can both control and resist fate manipulation in Sonic and the Secret Rings.

The death battle research team hates on/downplays Sonic characters, given to how he lost to mario in a rematch that wasn't needed and when Archie Sonic lost to Wally West is still by far the biggest downplay/upset by Death Battle in the entire series imo.

Let's not forget that Dr.Eggman plans on using Solaris powers to go beyond the Boundaries of Time itself. Sonic at a weakened state defeated Erazor Djinn(This happened before the Final Battle) This Genie has been Harvesting The Book's power(Arabian Knights 1001) itself, leading Worlds and the stories to disappear. And in the same Game Sonic has ran through a room with infinite space, entering the Astral Planes. Dark Gaia is not only one of the few characters who can neglect Chaos(or positive) energy, but he's also said to be a Hyper Energy Organism. Another feat of strength he's got: The fact that moving that fast and barreling into enemies at that kind of speed doesn't hurt him. All speedsters in fiction have super durability to survive that kind of thing.

The thing about sonic is that if what tails is saying is true about him running through time, that’s arguably immeasurable speed Which means he can travel through time with speed alone, thus making him be able to run so fast that he can just run fast and kill Goku as a baby And I love goku, but he’s infinite speed and low multiversal while sonic’s speed alone would win him the fight

Not to take away from Dark Gaia's feat to fight Super Sonic to exhaustion but it's implied that Sonic didn't sleep throughout the adventure of unleashed being awake during that night as werehog and running during the day as himself so maybe that might play a role towards him fainting in the end of the fight, which is quite the feat to add being able to go through days to weeks without sleep while trying to save the world

Dark Gaia’s body is pure negative chaos. It’s confirmed in the manual. That’s why super sonic got tired out, he couldn’t purify Dark Gaia’s corruptive chaos energy so he could only temporarily kill him. Unlike perfect chaos (who is just a water god using negative chaos energy), Gaia is the pure embodiment of it.

to clarify, the solaris fight, solaris was in 3 time period instances at once, each solaris fighting a hedgehog, it wasn't sonic fighting with help, each super hedgehog fought their own solaris in each time period. also the only reason dark gaia was so destructive toward super sonic is dark gaia had the natural ability to depower the chaos emeralds. eggman didn't depower them, he just held sonic in place, dark gaia did all that and turned sonic into werehog sonic. finally, that was not a black hole in sonic colors, it was a special black hole powered by hyper go-on energy, way more powerful than a normal black hole, and sonic outran it for a while and survived it. also, if we're talking game sonic, if we count hyper sonic then sonic is even stronger.

to be fair Mario does have a strength advantage over Sonic but I think that's where his significant advantages over Sonic ends they're both dead even when it comes to durability as both can survive black holes

3:12 id say Erazor djinn and time eater are also more powerful than dark gaia both being at least universe destroying entities at their strongest, also Ultimate Emeral is probs also more powerful (at least in pure destructive power) being above multi solar system level AND having combined movesets and abilities of whole sonic cast and sonic beat him in base form! Gaia is anywere from planet to large star level in terms of destructive power but is still very strong physically, being able to lift a section of the planet by lifting strength alone.

Not many people know this about that fight in sonic battle but tails states he has to beat him is 30 seconds or basically mission failed we'll get em next time. So yeah that fight was in real sonic world time was less than 30 seconds. Time might be a bit off but it was definitely less than a minute.

He wasn’t even boosting as he was tired. He has performed much higher feats in literally the next two games (lost world he resists a black hole hole shot by the final boss, and in generations he travels through time and space and restores it by speed).

Yeah Sonic was tired after his fight with Eggman that's why you couldn't boost while running away and Sonicsta was wrong saying it's not as powerful as a real black hole when it's the power of alot of negawisps whose power may be comparable or superior to the chaos emeralds as evident by Eggman in a lost file about how powerful the wisps are, So the black hole was just as powerful as a real black hole and Sonic can survive inside of a living black hole unharmed which shows how powerful Sonic durability really is, Sonic was just knocked out floating in a black hole, his body wasn't crushed, he wasn't in pain or turned into liquid or etc. The nega wisp black hole may be more powerful than an actual black hole since the wisp are compared to the power of the chaos emeralds and knowing how powerful the chaos emeralds are put that feat at ridiculous levels.

@@playerback7722 The Boost was confirmed through the files of Sonic Generations to be chaos energy based (file name was Boost enable chaos energy). Ring energy is able to power the Boost, meaning ring energy = chaos energy. This is also confirmed through the comics. A single capsule of wisps can power Sonic’s boost in Sonic Colors (for some reason the boost in that game is specifically a wisp power), so wisp energy is equivalent to chaos energy. Chaos emeralds also gives energy to all living things, that includes wisps which were created by the Mother Wisp. My point is that hyper go on energy is at least equal to chaos energy.

Not a Sonic game, but Sonic also clutched against Taboo in Smash bros Brawl after it had otherwise killed/defeated basically every other character in the game. 🤔 Literally Sonic shows up, and now Taboo is beatable 🤔🥳🤣

That's not even mentioning his Hyper form, Hyper Sonic has to be the most powerful Sonic character/form ever. He can literally wipe waves of enemies in less than a second, he can't drown, and that's not even mentioning the fact that he shares all of Super Sonic's abilities, who in turn shares all of base Sonic's abilities

Sonic is so powerful that he can never die. Even if Sega dies out, the fanbase will bring him back. He can never die. I legit did an essay on this in English Comp.

Archie Sonic got stronger too. You should see when he goes through a trial to learn how to use his power. It's really trippy.

For any power scalers confused here, let’s put this into power scaling terms alright. I’ll be going over his examples and some of my own examples of Sonic’s feats. Now let’s go over the first 1, Super Sonic VS Dark Gaia, in the fight it was a 2v1 of Chip and Sonic, vs Dark Gaia. Dark Gaia’s whole plan was to destroy the planet, which makes him a planetary villain, now this will put super sonic at planetary right, wrong, in the fight Dark Gaia weakened the chaos emeralds, making him fight a weakened super sonic, and even then, after taking down the shields, he was still able to one shot Dark Gaia, making Super Sonic above Planetary. In Sonic rush, Eggman and Eggman Nega team up to be the rulers of Sonic’s and Blazes universe, they try to do so by creating a machine called the Egg Salamander, the robot’s whole purpose was to destroy and combine the 2 universes, with the help of Blaze, Super Sonic easily defeated the Egg Salamander, making him above universal In Sonic Generartions, Sonic fights the Time Eater, a being that transcends above time, having the abilities of time travel, destroying, and or stopping time, Eggman’s plan was to use it to freeze the universe, so he can rule over it, with the help of classic sonic, super sonic was able to defeat Time Eater, making him at least low multiversal. If this feat doesn’t make you believe that Super Sonic is multiversal, then in 06, he defeated Solaris’ conscious, Solaris, a super-dimensional being, was planning to destroy all timelines, like time eater, making him low multiversal, meaning Super Sonic has super-dimensional mental attacks, but this doesn’t mean his physical attacks are multiversal right, also wrong, in sonic frontiers, Super Sonic, on his own, defeats the End, which said by Sega and Ian Flynn, the head director of the writing team at Sega, said that The End is Sonic’s strongest enemy, meaning he’s stron he r than Solaris, and Super Sonic CLAPPED, the end, meaning he has super-dimensional low multiversal mental, and physical attacks. Let’s turn to Hyper Sonic. In the new DLC for Sonic Frontiers, Sonic in his new form, Super Sonic 3, one shots the End, Hyper Sonic is 49 times stronger than Super Sonic, making him stronger than Super Sonic 2, meaning at Sonic’s strongest form, he is omniversal. Let’s power scale his base. At base he defeats infinite, and at his strongest, can summon a sun, making him large star level, Sonic claps Infinite, he bodies him, meaning Sonic is above a large star level. In Sonic Prime, a canon sonic show, Sonic faces nine, and in the show, he literally can destroy the universe, and at base form, sonic beats him, making Base sonic universal

You covered a lot of feats Sonic has done, though I do have to point out one thing involving Solaris. Solaris is a being that exists throughout all of time and space, as stated by Eggman. Because of this, each hedgehog went to a different point in time in order to destroy it, and because of Solaris' omnipresence, each hedgehog was fighting Solaris at maximum power. So yeah, Sonic is practically god-like in terms of power and would likely beat Goku in a no-holds-barred fight, albeit with some difficulty. Now Archie Sonic, on the other hand, would beat Goku without breaking a sweat.

Funfact Dark gaia might actually be stronger than solaris purely because sonic could've beaten dark gaia if not for solaris being able to exist on multiple different plains of existence Shadow fought past solaris Sonic fought present And silver fought future And not only were they not exhausted but they still had enough energy to come back in their super forms as they watch solaris fade away Now it can be argued that sonic has been fighting 2 separate armies (gaia minions and eggmans army) with no rest but we also know that sonic deals with this type of stuff a lot

Egg Dragoon isn't above Solaris it was just a pinnacle of mad science Dark.Gaia had to advantage to to Super Sonic being weakened by negative energy Infinite had the prototype and was exaggeration None of those characters are above Solaris except for the Titans and the End

Just going to ignore that in Sonic Unleashed, Sonic is INFUSED with dark gaia's energy yet has no problem keeping control (besides the slips in emotions). Chip later confirms Sonic's will surpasses Dark Gaia's control, despite the fact he holds so much that it physical forces the werehog transformation.

I'd say arguably the Time Eater is the second strongest villain due to his ability to warp and devour time and space and trap entire worlds in the the White limbo space. Putting him above Dark Gaia

But he still needed the help of Eggman pissing on the earth with the seven Chaos Emeralds and a massive cannon to break free from it in the first place.

@@undeadbatman9762 Although the only issue is I'm not sure exactly how powerful 06 Super Sonic is. While he did fight a multiversal level Solaris, he did that with the help of Super Shadow and Super Silver.

I think people underestimate Sonic because Speed is his main thing and they always think about things like "is Sonic faster than Flash?" Rather than is Sonic stronger than "anime character". Also Sonic beat "present Soloris" on his own he only needed Shadow and Silver to beat the past and future to fully destroy him

Amazing video! It really shows the true power of Sonic in the games. Though I should note that Sonic used the time posts to time travel, and Sonic returning color and life was space-time restoration hax but other than that, you were spot on about Solaris, Dark Gaia, etc. And I do agree Archie Sonic being overused has lead people to believe that "oh, this means Game Sonic is so weak in comparison" and I am glad this shows that Game Sonic is no slouch either. Game Sonic can easily be put at star level and ftl+ in base. Super Sonic at multiversal with immeasurable speeds. Sure, not as strong as Archie Ultra/Super Sonic who is 5D but people shouldn't confuse that and automatically assume game Sonic is super weak in comparison.

Also, in Forces, Sonic states that he is always growing stronger. This explains why he could beat Chaos in base in Generations. With that info, we can infer that eventually, or even currently, he'd be able to go head to head with beings like Dark Gaia, Time Eater, and possibly even Solaris all on his own. More on that Solaris bit; I believe the only reason Sonic even needed help was because Solaris exists throughout all of time and space. Shadow defeated the Solaris of the past, Silver defeated the Solaris of the future, and Sonic; the Solaris of the present. This is less of a power thing and more of Solaris' state of being, since it's what most would consider a 4D being due to it's time and space manipulation. This also implies that The End from Frontiers is one of, if not the, strongest Sonic villians, since even after all that time Sonic is growing over the years, he still needs assistance. But this is all just a theory, and more of a headcanon if anything, so don't take it too seriously.

Can we just like... Agree that both are stronger and move on? I'm tired of this Mario vs Sonic bullshit all the time. Let me enjoy the damn characters in peace without seeing another Console Warm drama dilemma in EVERY video that involves them, please? Thank you.

Those plates don’t automatically give you the ability to time travel. Sonic has to run fast enough to activate a time warp aka time travel. The manual/guide confirms Sonic ran fast enough to surpass the boundaries of time itself.

@@undeadbatman9762 Technically they did, when Sonic comes in contact with the Time Warp Plate(s) he needs to maintain that speed so that the Time Warp Energy can be enacted in order to Time Travel.

@@porobotboyxxx That's still pure speed. He did something similar in generations (Classic even kept up with Modern), the game was repeatedly stated to be a time traveling adventure. Where did you get "Time warp energy" don't think that's a thing.

@@undeadbatman9762 Not entirety pure speed, the Time Warp was also a necessary factor to Time Travel as well. Even Archie Sonic’s aware that the Time Warp Plates were necessary to travel through time. Well yes and no, we truly see Sonic travel through time when he goes Super and chases after the Time Eater into the quite literal Timestream.

@@porobotboyxxx Sonic generations Tails stated that Sonic can accelerate through time. No the kanji in cd says Sonic had reached beyond the time while he was time traveling (most likely).

in sonic CD sonic ain't really that fast, cuz if he was then stuff like perfect chaos and the bio lizard would've been piss easy for super sonic but thing is, this doesn't downscale him as in sonic generations, classic sonic also returns the dead to life and fixing time with his old self yes it may sound like modern sonic doesn't get help but really it doesn't do much as sonic and classic sonic are just doing time reverts meaning both are doing whats right meaning both are just doing tag team combo to fix the time loop. (I am taking this from a gameplay stand point and in CD sonic uses the signs to go back in time)

To add to it Sonic beat gmerel who was going to destroy the star system and maybe the solar system. Escaping the null space means he may have infinite speed But any how Archie sonic i still the strongest sonic
