This really feels like a 32X game and I LOVE IT! even the graphics and sonic himself looks very detailed too! This is wonderful!

And yes, I believe you said the word "Hoshi" correctly. It's pronounced abit like "Yoshi", but swap-out the "Y" sound with an "H" sound. The reason the game is called "Sonic Hoshi", is likely because of the new Star Dash move in this game, as, how I stated in a previous comment I submitted not that long ago at all, "Hoshi" is the Japanese word for "Star". I've forgotten most of my Japanese language knowledge I had as a kid, but some Japanese words I still remember and remember what they are when translated to English. For example "Sakura", is the Japanese word for "Cherryblossom", a kind of thing some trees do around Springtime. The tree will bloom several pink petals, and that is when the "Cherryblossoms" take into effect. Sakura isn't some word that was made up for the name of the series of "weird" (to put it vague as to not lead kids where they shouldn't) visual novel games, if you ever had the unfortunate fate to know they exist like I do. OK, I'll shutup for now

This game uses a bunch of different animations that are in my own animation test. I created it a year before I knew this was even a thing. I find it kind of interesting that the creators of this game used the same animations I did, even though I never knew about this until a few days ago.

@@jaytheglitch8194 creator of the game here, all of the sonic animations are unique and were made by the artists, we absolutely did not take anything from any animation or even got inspiration from any animation, they're completely original

@@NicoSwitch That's what I figured, it's just interesting the team and I had the same animation ideas. Also, I agree, this is a great video; keep up the good work, BTG! The game itself is really cool and the unique design for Sonic, the stages, and animations are really nice!

25:25 probably one of the coolest scenes in a fan game yet! The bosses also seemed to have more of a difficulty than other fan games. Cool stuff Darby great video man!

One thing: Sonic being unable to harm Metal Sonic is accurate to Metal Sonic's origin game, Sonic CD. In the "boss fight" Sonic does against Metal Sonic, Sonic cannot kill that Metal copy of him in Sonic CD. Instead, it's moreso a race to the finish. If you can reach the end point in that stage, you'll trick Eggmon into destroying Metal Sonic for you, as there's a trap at the end of said stage, that kills whoever does not make it to the exit first.

Have you tried Dr robotnik's plan B? I highly reccomend it!

This isnt that bad it looks awsome!!!! These cutscenes are cooloer than ever!!!

#EveryoneThatSuperThanked! That ending. I was left amazed with that last part. I have a slight feeling in Mystic Mine you could see Mystic Cave in the background. And I also think the speed shoe song was Sonic Boom (The theme song from Sonic CD) but not sure. And I did see the CSS Labyrinth level and I would like more of this once more of the game comes out!! Come on SONIC! Help me out man > And again #EveryoneThatSuperThanked!

the bosses are insanely good the cutscenes the sheer feel of them this game has everything good especially the story

Really enjoyed this. All these Sonic games just get better and better and more unique/ The music, colour and style, esp the back ground are awesome loved the mountains in t he background. i love impatient Sonic. . Thank you for the awesome video.

Ho + she = Hoshi :). Hoshi looks like Japanese "hoshii", where if X is "hoshii" to Y, Y wants X. Then again, it also means "star" in Japanese :).

I've been watching your old videos for the first time recently, I just recently watched you make a level in the Yoshi Fabrication Station then watched Lair play it afterward. Zone 1: Spike Shield = makes you inmune to spikes Zone 2: Goggles = Infinite breath underwater Zone 3: Ice Shield =Don't freeze

I watched when you made a Labyrinth zone from that video with Roblox and the others too enjoy watching you play sonic games.

You're correct To defeat the boss You gotta hit two time or four to make him vulnerable Hit him before he goes up to get himself invulnerable again

Actually they updated the plot There is something called "Celestial Star" which can rival the power of the chaos emeralds when fully powered and since metal became super we cannot get the emeralds as super means untouchtable so getting the celstial star means a good ending

15:15 fun fact: that badnik’s name is splat, he is a scrapped badnik from sonic 1 he has merchandise and appeared in debug mode on sonic 1, he appeared in mania 3 different times.

You may want to try idling for longer. I forget which one but in one Sonic game he'll jump off the stage and die if you're idle for too long.

There definitely is something cold dark and a sense of doom and some sort of brutal aspect to sonic 2 deathegg I guess the name fits and space the silver metal sonic or mecha want the hell ever and the personal feeling it has like this is personal you and I in this cold crushing no escape place in space fight to the death if so be it on a giant bomb of a weapon.
