I feel like this song represents amy better than my sweet passion does. It shows her optimism and care for everyone including her team and sonic. The lines "whatever I want, I get" also shows her relentless persistence. This is a good team rose theme as it is a good amy rose theme.

I honestly wonder if the reason for this song was to give her another theme song that was less…weird…than My Sweet Passion. Either way though, I like both, I just kinda wish they had saved this song for a future game and instead put in a theme song about all three team members. Each other team’s theme is about the TEAM, with each character getting a line plus a mention to Eggman. This one feels a tad out of place.

I don’t need a song a song about Cream (who virtually no one cares about) and especially Big (the least popular character from the 3D games except maybe Infinite). For True Story is basically saying "hey, look at all this wonderful stuff, guess what, none of it depends on you". This song is saying the opposite for Sonic from Amy's perspective, saying that the universe would just implode from sheer despair if he weren't in it. But it's an argument we'll never have now, since Amy has been reduced from peppy stalker fangirl to just "girl" in recent times.

This is the best theme song Sega have made for Amy yet and I don’t think they’ll be topping it anytime soon.

I love all the team themes from this game; but it's this song moreso than almost any of the others that still stays with me. There's just something so... upbeat, hopeful, and happy about the song that it just puts a smile on my face within a few seconds of the chorus kicking in.

Team Rose was my favorite team when I was a kid and this game came out, and now as an adult, I appreciate this team even more, both as a whole and the members individually. I mean, it shows a lot of relatable qualities, mostly showing leadership and being the hero, or in this case the heroine, of your own story.

I wish Amy in Heroes matched this theme a little more, it definitely suits the modern Amy and Adventure 1 and 2 Amy well, thank goodness they chose this song to be her Ultimate in TSR instead of My Sweet Passion.

I always skipped this one while listening to the Sonic Heroes team themes. Probably because it's more of Amy's theme song than Team Rose. All the other songs describe the team in general, not just the leader (This Machine, Team Chaotix, We Can). Still, out of the context, it slaps. Calm and soft, at the same time satisfies my desire for fast pace

There is one unifying thing between all three characters that this song does encapsulate: they are motivated by love. Amy is obvious, but Cream is searching for Choca because of her familial love for Cheese, and Big is looking for Froggy again (and he has a whole song dedicated to that relationship in Adventure 1). It’s not the same obvious romantic type of love that Amy has, but the lyrics easily relate to someone *in love*, to me anyways. Song is a banger too

Why do people complain how this song is only about Amy? The singer only goes on about somebody important who they value. This can refer to Amy's crush on Sonic, yes, but it might as well revolve around the owner/pet relationship of Cream and Chocola or Big's friendship with Froggy

I think all members of team Rose needs well made characterization and development. I just done when people call someone or all of them not important. Cream is kind and powerful. Boldly goes to save Vanilla and Chocola. She also helped Blaze accept others in her life. Chao lore and new locations can be interesting. Big is calm and independent. He explores the world on his own, but when it's necessary, he can stand up for his friends. In final SA1 he helped others to find chaos emeralds and join team Rose to find Chocola and Froggy. Amy is happy and understanding. Resolutely goes to adventures and tries to become better and stronger. Seeing good even in her enemies and tries to help others. She helped Gamma to realize what he doing and change his perspective on life, helping Shadow recall his true purpose, helping Cream and Big to find messing friends. They have a siblings or cousins dynamic. This potential can be used in future games, but Sega likes to waste that. Yes, they have flaws and a "bad script" BUT that doesn't mean you can destroy those characters and development just because fans didn't like them. It's broke my heart. How characters become interesting if you don't develop them, humiliate them and later don't include them in the narrative? Without team Rose, whole franchise feels weird.

One gripe I have with this lyric video, and really the perception of this song as a whole, is the focus people put on Amy and Sonic. Sure they're the most obvious pair to link up, but the whole point is that it's TEAM Rose, and the song can apply to any of the members. Obviously there's Amy and Sonic, but there's also Cream and Cheese, or if you prefer, Cheese and Chocola, and of course, Big and Froggy. The song is supposed to be about all of them, and I think this lyric video does that a real disservice by having Sonic show up more than any of the other team members.
