I see it like this: GUN tracked Classic Sonic first so they set off a truck for him. By the end of stage it was completely crashed so it gone to some...renovations. When Modern Sonic came into play, the Truck was recovered and upgraded by the end of Act 2 (Saws and Bossters added). Yet was crashed against the random building. Now imagine if we got an Act 3 version...

Everything about this puts a smile on my face: the song, the classic Sonic, the stage, the fact a giant normal truck is rampaging through the city trying to smush a hedgehog.

That truck is anything but normal

this level was actually pretty smart and creative, how the truck not only is able to harm you if you don't react fast, but also it impacts the level, removing shortcuts and changing the layout of your path, like in the scaffolding section. In modern, the chase at the end is the anxiety ridding part, but in classic, is pretty much the whole level

+LoganOnTheRun The music is addicting when you first hear it in game, but you will have to play other stages as well for the gameplay.

American Truck Simulator gone wrong.

The way the truck was depicted in this stage is actually the inspiration for a villain character I've thought of called "The Mad Trucker", who relishes in the destruction and mayhem that he causes. And he drives like crazy, too.

Wow, and I thought the truck from the original level was scary. This one literally stalks you throughout the entire level.

They gave City Escape JUSTICE in this game! Both music tracks are AWESOME! (I like Classic Sonic's more), The G.U.N truck is back and is CRAZY now with jet boosters and buzzsaws, and they gave Classic Sonic a skateboard!

HE'S SO CUTE!!!!!😆😆😆😆😆

I swear to God, if I didn't know any better, I'd expect that truck to drive upside down.

When I was in middle school I played this level so many darn times I could get through most of it with my eyes closed.

Because everyone is mistaken sonic for shadows identity that sonic had nothing to do with the GUN he was confused why there was after him until sonic confronted shadow who got him in trouble for no reason

That truck is destroying half the city but somehow, Sonic’s the threat. Okay

1:28 the first time I played this level I was fucking screaming on this part. The truck in this level was terrifying and awesome at the same time

All we had to do was the follow the damn blue hedgehog, CJ

I got ‘Blazing Meteor’ after that stage as well.

Seeing the GUN Truck slam through a freaking house was awesome!

I remember the truck being more relentless in my experience playing the game.

One of the funniest stages with classic Sonic.

One of the most catchy songs in the history of Sonic The Hedgehog. If you analyse the chorus, Sonic is sending a powerful message, not to us, but to SEGA. As you know, in the later half of the '90s, SEGA was going through a hard time with bad games and worse consoles. They had given up all hope and forgotten their mascot. So, Sonic is offering to help them if they set him free from the clutches of bad 3-D Sonic games and he is asking them NOT TO BE LAZY and make good 2-D and 3-D Sonic games. However, SEGA rejected the request and fell at the end.

This is how john connor must have felt in the tunnel case in T2

I find it funny how they make the truck chase work for 2D platforming.

Sometimes I think the truck driver in 2D is a bit more dedicated to capturing/killing Sonic than in 3D, but that's just me.

It's a good thing Truck-kun was kinder with our adorable Classic Sonic... While Modern Sonic has it even worse than in SA2.
