When you realize that this game and Lost World are the closest we've gotten to moving around how Sonic did in Sonic CD's animated cutscenes 1:40 That caught me off guard, Wtf lol

This! One reason why I was highly looking forward to this game! There was also a fan game being developed prior to Frontiers called Sonic Project Hero which was, more or less, what Frontiers was in world design, despite Sonic having more movement options.

Man the animations during transitions look sooo good here. Probably my favorite Character mod up there with 06 Sonic. Love the new jump ball. Ma Boi Metal Sonic also isn't T-posing now. :)

Easily one of the greatest mods I've seen for this game so far

This model for this game is the coolest thing I've ever seen, it fits very well. Even the JumpBall is awesome

Toei Sonic is true classic Sonic. Cool, acrobatic and beautiful.

Honestly, I didn't know how someone could translate Toei Sonic's unique quills into a 3D model, but this did a really good job at it.

Fun Fact: It's actually not supposed to be called "Toei" Sonic because the CD cutscenes were animated by a group of underpaid animators at *"Studio Junio"* So this is supposed to be called Junio Sonic since Toei didn't do anything

@@ThePokechester It's really depressing seeing people constantly call it toei Sonic when it was clarified on twitter that the people who animated the stuff for CD were severely underpaid. I can't imagine how they feel all these years later just seeing their works be misconstrued as just a "Toei" animation

Metal Sonic’s enormous size makes this feel like a callback to the Sonic X-Treme Boss Battle.

I’m just starting the video and I’m already loving that menacing grin on sonics face lol

I Love this Model so much like its the most thing that stands out in this mod (in my opinion).

Oh man. This is amazing. I'll still probably play through it with adventure sonic mods though because it fits more with the style of the game.

I remember using the Toei Sonic mod in S3&K, the Sonic design is pretty good

Lol he couldn't handle Chad Toei Sonic.

I would have loved the chance to recreate the opening animation from Sonic CD in Frontiers, especially the last segment of Sonic spindashing down the cliff side to reach a sonic boom before running along the giant chains to little planet.

The model looks amazing. I think the only thing that'd really make it better is if the quills moved and shook a little bit with Sonic's movement. Beyond that, it looks amazing, and makes me want more developers to create Sonic games with this model more. This "Classic" model looks the very best in 3D.
