What about Sonic Frontiers?

If this game does eventually get ported to consoles, I'm most curious to see if they'll upgrade the cutscenes so that they're all animated. They already have full-on voice acting and sound design built in, and the character models are definitely capable of expressive movement! It wouldn't surprise me if these "mobile-game-screenshot" cutscenes are a sort of blueprint to be fully animated later on.

@@stargazersdance In other replies about a port for this, which I disagree with what I said. I think a port of this can work, even though I still find this game a bit too simple. I’ve been playing this game and started on the third zone, and I do think it’s pretty simple. No momentum base gameplay, and the characters needed a stomp bounce attack, and turning feels bad, especially Knuckles and Rouge’s gliding.

Love the His World reference in the song. Always wanted this kinda motif thrown in for years. I think the Electric Guitar and Drums version of the main theme would have given that punch for Sonic's Finisher at the end.

There is a feel of sonic 3 final boss in this final boss ost, but more fluid and harmonical, and i absolutely love it. *Edit: its not completely copy pasted, it just got few very similar moments which is cool

​@@KycenPetersenJust wondering, have you played this game? There's already a lot of obscure Sonic references in game so I feel like the more blatant one has to be there for a reason. They've been all on top of the references that they have a lore master so it's very hard to dismiss the exact notes as random coincidence when people call musical reference in Sonic for much less ( e.g Dreams of an Absolution and Green Hill)

Us when Cream finally makes it in an actual Sonic game again: “Glad to have you back!”

This could be the closest we’ll ever get to Super Eggman.

Anything that releases on Switch could be released on iPhones and would look better than it does on Switch. Hell, they released the full version of Resident Evil Village on iPhone 15 Pro this year.

Imagine if all of a sudden, Sage just appears after sonic and friends left only to see Eggman on the floor asleep: Sage: My First successful day of Human School, and I come back to what I can tell is another thwarted plan by sonic... And company... Hmmm... Perhaps some rest is what you need, father. Thankfully, I have already recorded all your favorite meal recipes. I'll take care of dinner. Now where are Brothers Orbot and Cubot?

The way Eggman delivered his lines at the end, he sounded choked up or holding back, like he was after something else besides world domination, but didn't want to let anyone know. Maybe his real dream is to be reunited with Sage.

5:14 Fanservice, it is reminiscent of Sonic Advance, where Sonic's entire team helps with their personal ability, only Blaze The Cat is missing and it would be perfect, however this game is the best Sonic in 3D!!

I feel like this game is gonna have cameo appearance for NiGHTs in the future one day.

*MAJOR* Missed oppritunity to have NiGHTS from nights into dreams to have a Cameo or playable appearance in this game. Because **it's in a dream world** and it even has **Dreams in the title of the game!** so why not?

12:11 Michelle Ruff must have been so excited to finally come back when all sega had to do was make a sonic show focused on cream during all of the games she wasn't in and make it as a "KZread original."

I like that the boss is actually just a series of platforming challenges.

Ok giving Eggman powers is actually creepy and a great way to keep him as an intimidating villain after the end. And having the whole squad in the level was brilliant both in gameplay and story.

If this does ever get imported to consoles and do an actual boss fight with nightmare eggman, would be cool if each of the gang would have to fight dream fabrications of past villains, like Metal sonic or even Infinite.

so the image in the tweet sega hardlight posted mentioning to stay tuned for a sonic game reveal, was where the final boss is. it kinda seemed predictable considering that it was the only location not in any trailers and it looked like a completely different vibe lol

This is a high B or low A tier game, the Story is decent the gameplay looks fun the visuals are amazing and the bosses look fun as well but the bad thing about this is there is no final boss unfortunately 😔

This is the weirdest and yet most glorious "full circle" concept i've ever seen so far. Eggman was originally conceptualized as a platformer hero similar to Mario, with his concept art of him being in his pajamas hinting that he would be a man working his way through a series of good and bad dreams or just trying desperately to get a good night's sleep. Now he's the master of those dreams. He's become everyone's living nightmare.

Legend has it Eggman's still sleeping to this day.

@@azimuddin1890 I get what you what your saying, but I wasn't clear on my "opinion" I like the look of the game and the music. The game gives me that feeling of what Sonic heroes and lost worlds look like. I like the vibrant and more colorful look of the game. It doesn't have that realistic look that frontiers have. It's pretty clear it is a mobile game I don't see the issue with that.
