Ok. I believe there should be a Sonic 4 retrospective that covers how originally being Sonic the Portable most likely caused issues for Sonic 4.

The reason it’s bad cause of the physics when your on a slop and you spin it goes super slow and episode 2 *kinda fixed the physics* but it was still bad

I remember at the time reviews were really positive for Sonic 4 episode 1. There were a lot of people who complained about it in the comment section of my most popular Sonic 4 episode 1 videos but there were still people who actually liked it too. I'm not sure how much I'd like the game nowadays, but I did enjoy it at the time. Still I thought Sonic 4 episode 2 was quite an improvement over it. And I actually really liked how the music sound like on Sonic 4 episode 1 Wiiware version.

It sounds like you didn't know, but the mobile version actually kept the tilt controls as an option. And you know what? Playing with tilt controls is a bit more fun in my opinion. It's like the game was built around them or something!
