It has all come down to the final battle as Sonic and Tails have boarded Robotnik's gigantic warship, the Death Egg! Navigating all the dangerous traps and anti-gravity perils with ease, Sonic will stop at nothing to reclaim the Master Emerald from the evil Doctor's clutches. One battle aboard the station is not enough, however, as Eggman attempts to retreat into outer space with Hyper Sonic in hot pursuit...

It's not a glitch, you actually do not take damage from the laser as long as you stay on the platforms.

It’s 1 player but another player can control Tails by using the 2P controller.

Imagine all this in actual genesis/ mega drive hardware. It would sound really cool, but seeing that there was already a hack that added voices to sonic 1 (in the original one) it would cancel the percussion from the music, and it would make the tracks really bland. Really cool series though!
