Even the inpashent animaton isnt in this rom hack for the future sonic advance has one but its not there and in sonic advance sonic doesnt tap his foot he just does some other animatons an just starts to point up

It would've worked so well if it was like Sonic CD where there are the signposts. Interestingly Sonic CD was meant to have instant time travel but couldn't be done because of loading. If only they made it like that here! 9:31 You know that the master system version was made before the game gear version, and they optimised the game gear version a lot more to stop screen crunch. If someone made a hack of the master system version that implements the game gear's changes, that would be cool!

@@sergioruiz1348 Sonic CD famously had a time travel mechanic (past, present, and future. in fact, the P and F in this ROM hack are ripped directly from Sonic CD) where passing a signpost and building up speed for a certain time length would transport you to a new time, and a different version of the stage. Also, in this ROM hack, just like in CD, the third act of every zone forces you into the Future.

Why would you want the game gear's changes? It would just make everything smaller. Master system has the same resolution as the genesis so there's no need to have screen size optimisings.

That sound effect is actually what you normally hear when you earn a continue, but yes, it seems that in this hack, that sound is used for Chaos Emeralds.

I’ve played dis before. Past brings you to the sms version and future brings you to gba sonic. It also works like sonic cd on the 3rd act when your forced to play in the future

(2:16) Apparently, time-traveling takes away all of your rings. (2:27) Oh, and Chaos Emeralds are out in the open in the levels now, it seems. (3:50) This is based on Sonic Advance. I can tell by the ring counter in the HUD and the item box shape. (It helps that raocow is currently in the middle of LP-ing Sonic Advance in his "All the Sonics" series.) (5:15) LOL, that's glitchy. (6:24) Whoa, what happened to Marble Zone Act 2? Is 8Fridge responsible for this? :P (9:21) Yeah, I've played the Game Gear versions. (11:20) I doubt it. You did get to the end of an act with over 50 rings earlier, and no big bonus ring appeared. (12:55) Interesting how you fight Robotnik in Act 2 in the past. And, that beating him here gets you a Chaos Emerald.

You know what would be really funny for this version, is to have a furture part where Robotnick is a really old man and can barely use his eggomatic like those slow elderly traffic drivers and see him come up to Sonic and suddenly get too tired to wanna fight and leaves. LOL. Maybe also a version where Sonic is old too and there both have a very short fight because they tire easily and leave or young Sonic sees his older grampa self fighting the grampa Robotnick and tries to change something just like in the back to the future movie. LOL!

Hey there Darby. Since you liked the ROM hack, I'd like to let you know that there's actually an official Sonic game where you can time-travel. It's called Sonic CD and it was released in 1993. It is also the first game Metal Sonic appeared in. I recommend the 2011 remake done by Christian Whitehead. On a different note, the art style for the future in this ROM hack is based on the "Sonic Advance" series on the Game Boy Advance made by Dimps. They are quality Sonic games I think you'll like.

Megaman X in Sonic 2 beckons you... xD 9:22 Yes, yes I have; it is a completely different game on the SMS/SC-3000/SGG. 11:22 The bonus levels in the SMS/SC-3000/SGG version are completely different; you bounce around a carnival like area and try to get as many rings as possible, but you don't get Chaos Emeralds this way. The Emerald you collected on your first run is how you would get them in the SMS/SC-3000/SGG version. I should also mention that if this gets a full set of levels that are faithful to the stage setups, Marble Zone is replaced with Bridge in the SMS/SC-3000/SGG version; Jungle replaces Spring Yard, and Star Light is also replaced (the name of the zone escapes memory for the time being). Labyrinth and Scrap Brain are ridiculously hard, also. 12:14 In the SMS/SC-3000/SGG version, this encounter just has Robotnik flying around. That was quite interesting, to be honest. I don't know enough about the Sonic Advance games to know how the levels should look and be structured if this were a full game hack.

Possible music transitions...: Going to the future: GreenHill to NeoGreenHill Marble to HotCrater SpringYard to CasinoParadise Labyrinth to IceMountain Starlight to its GBA SHA1 equiv Scrapbrain to is GBA SHA1 Equiv Perhaps have the Boss and FinalZone music done so to account for the Present, Past and Future tenses? This should be a mod in Sonic 2 but why you might ask: Sonic 2 had a past and future hill top zone was the past of emerald hill so hill top zone is from the past but emerald hill zone is a future zone

The past they used was actually made after the original sonic 1
