Sonic really is the fastest thing alive, he can teleport across the map in his boss fight. xD (guess shadow can teleport too). Now only if he didn't stay in the air to homing attack for like 5 seconds lol

Now what happens when you glitch out the map as silver fighting Sonic? Will Sonic still be able to hit you? Why do I panic when he does the “Here I come”?

​@@KarmaTube5 it would probably work on Sonic since it works on Silver's boss fight too and i think the reason to be scared is that Sonic charges his homing attacks pretty quickly and there's no way to dodge it

Basically, what Sonic should have been. Mephiles as a playable character. Why not, Episode Mephiles like Episode Shadow in Forces under DLC form.

Mephiles voice sounds VERY terrifying and I love it.

The fact that Mephiles folded Sonic and Shadow like lawn chairs due to them being very easy bosses just shows that they cannot hope to stop him with their limited power

Imagine if the Last Story actually did make you play as Mephiles when he killed Sonic in the base game.

​@@min2793 i have this feeling that if SEGA keeps going in this new direction of storyline and gameplay of Frontiers in some future games they could make the main characters like Tails and Knuckles have really badass boss fights especially Sonic if there's one main character i want to see as a boss fight again the most is definitely Sonic

I think Mephiles should play a little more like his boss fights, maybe a little like playing as Dracula in Castlevania Judgement, but faster, blasting without restraining himself, temporarily summoning his shadows, the giant creatures from his 2nd boss fight, a homing attack looking a little more like that after-image/cloning move he did in the 2nd boss fight, sinking into the ground like a shadow when he low slides, limitless flight, limitless power, instead of a Chaos Spear, maybe that light beam sword he used to kill Sonic. His idle animation from his boss fights should be in too. Playing as Mephiles should feel *addicting* like a symbiote, giving in to the darkness.

Running with the crystal feet looks so weird.

Why is this so good?!?!

yeah legacy of solaris is a revamp mod for sonic 06. this was on xenia emulator, it's an xbox 360 emulator.

Why is this not in the latest Sonic legacy of Solaris mod?

I just realized: While Sonic is playable in his Super form during the Last Story, you can’t actually play as regular Sonic in this portion of the game. So what about having a Mephiles mini-boss fight at the beginning of the story? I’m just saying, it’s a far better way for Sonic to go out than Mephiles simply going “PSYCHE!”.

I played through these levels For some reason, you can't just select his story, or it ends after Crisis City. You have to actually select them individually. My guess is that it's the way they use his different forms, although I kinda assumed those were just treated as separate characters in the game files, loading whichever is appropriate for the stage, similar to what the game itself already does But yeah, this mod really shows how Sonic and Shadow were not optimized to fight each other. IK there's ways you can cheese the Silver fight by just kinda hitting him as he jumps to kill him a lot faster in both Sonic's and Shadow's stories, but in these Mephiles fights... you can literally just spam A and you win Makes me kinda wish that instead of just making him a Shadow copy, they implemented some of each character's moves into his moveset. They modified Amy to be more like how she plays in the battle mode of Adventure 2 (which is very similar to Sonic, however her homing attack is very different), so it's not like it's impossible Something like Shadow's homing attack, but with the combo system taken out, and possibly Silver's Psychokinesis instead of Chaos Snap. Otherwise, I'd just copy Silver's moveset instead, I feel like he has more in common with Silver than Shadow in terms of his attacks

Legally, I can't say how. Even if you physically own a game, downloading a copy of it from an unofficial source is technically still considered piracy Ripping a game, however, is a much more grey area, but you can't really get in any trouble if you don't distribute them. There are tons of guides online on how to do this for various consoles, so look one up for the 360 (or PS3, but IDK if the mod works on the PS3 version), and grab an emulator for whatever system you're emulating Alternatively, there's Project 06, which is a fanmade recreation of the game, but due to several differences between the two games (gameplay, engine, and basically everything), the mod will not work on that version of it, however, if you're lacking a copy of 06, this recreation uses none of the original source code, so there's no illegal practice in downloading it I've written this comment 5 times now, and each time I've clicked reply, it got removed instantly, so I will refrain from sending any links, but all of these can be found online ridiculously easy

I know he’s a mod for shadow, but I feel like mephiles could’ve had a different move set from shadow
