I feel like Mekkah's surprise at Nino's level at the end speaks volumes about how hard people assume babying Nino to be. The truth is, as I think is made clear in the video, that she can get there very quickly and easily if you just feed her something every player phase in this chapter.

Feeding is always hard, especially when you have more difficult and varied enemies and weapons to consider on terrain that drops out from underneath you. At that point in the game most people already have the squad they are sticking with for the end game.

@@TheShapestofSnatches high turn count doesn’t matter inherently, and it definitely doesn’t make it harder (for example, no one thinks grinding supports is hard). Finishing faster is just a preference the community has. I don’t think the “near death experiences” here were necessary.

@@2tehnik without speaking to the point of being hard, you mention it being doable quickly as "made clear in the video" when it involved several turns of turtling and a turn count that most casual playthroughs wouldn't even reach (waiting for every tile to re-appear). And no leveling Nino isn't hard so much as Fire Emblem isn't "hard" but it's well more effort than not doing so (as opposed to supports which take no effort to grind)

The idea that the thief will one day get the chest fills you with determination.

Lv20 Erk has +7/0/-4/0/-6/0/+6/+2 on Lv17 Nino btw

So cool seeing all these level caps finally coming to fruition, that was 4 characters hitting level 20 in his map alone!

Magic swords in Blazing and Sacred work as follows: Light Brand and Wind Edge are treated as swords at 1-range. When at 2-range, they are treated as magic. The Runesword is always treated as magic. When treated as magic, they halve the attacker's Str for the purposes of calculating Atk and always have 0 listed critical. They all always target Res. Why is the Runesword different? I have no friggin' idea.

I do not know what I expected out of this chapter, but uh... Not this, clearly.

Eliwood and Lyn both reach 20 in the endgame, neither promotes. Need to save those promo items for funds rank!

@@MegaphoneFranke I mean there are other ways to save the funds, I think the rationale is just that Eliwood and Lyn aren't great units anyhow, and they have the extra-pricey promo items, so it makes sense to skip those promotions for rank instead of trying to avoid using silver weapons and stuff

Also that is the worst level 20 hector i have ever seen
