I think this is one of the better Fire Emblem DLCs... Generally, I wish they'd return to how they did DLC in Awakening and Fates, small little additions that give you cool rewards like Lucinas/Robins/Ikes Classes, etc. It'd be so much cooler to have the ability to give your Engage Characters the classes of the Bond Ring lords for example. It felt more like a bonus than anything else. And you had the choice to pay for what you want rather than pay 25€ at once.

To explain staff targeting a little more precisely to explain what’s going on Enemies with staves target whatever unit is in range of the most enemies (the count is slightly naive and doesn’t consider units body blocking each other) and then tiebreaks by checking hit rate which is a function of both Res and Luck, and then tiebreaks that by just firing randomly. The confusing part in this map is that Hisame and Kiragi both have personal skills which slightly alter staff avoid, and more relevant, you were fighting on pillars which also give avoid which was making the calculations for who had lower staff avoid slightly more complex.

FYI -> Heirs of Fate keeps track of promotions, and grants high-level weapons depending on the promotion paths chosen.

Interestingly enough, this DLC pretty much shows the kids’ canon hair colour. Most of them correspond with the father Like both Kana’s and the royal sons. But very few of them don’t match, like Soleil, Mitama, maybe Selkie, Asugi and Rhajat. The last two due to being Awakening clones

If this was the cannon ending of fates the stories would improved a lot.

Oh boy, it's the child killing dlc. I've never actually beaten the whole thing, I beat the 5th episode but never played the 6th. So hey, it'll be a new(ish) experience re-experiencing these dlc maps! I do remember that the 4th episode was a slog with so many reinforcements it makes Clash blush.

I do feels like these Hidden Truth and Heirs of Fate chapters plays like BSFE (FE:Archanea Saga) which were remade in FE 12 in the Archanea Chronicles and also the DLC in FE 12 too! I wonder when will you play it tho?

I legit didn’t know the kids existed besides Kana until I played this DLC. I only found out you could get these characters in-game after looking up them up because I couldn’t believe they made this many new characters just for a DLC campaign. Edit: 9:59 I also never noticed that naming error before.
