Has some good laughs down soi 6,7 & 8 during Songkran in the afternoon but it does go a bit too long I'd avoid it these days,tbh that looks tame compared to Pattaya

Looks quite tame compared with the bigger spots. It's probably a good way to enjoy it if you're not totally crazy for the Idea of Songkran , but want to see what it's all about

Love the soundtrack
After the travel restrictions, bars being closed & wearing face nappies a few days of water being thrown about is no big deal in my book & was a welcome sight that showed things had got back to normal after the dark days of the Pandemic.
My first songkran was in chiang mai however, the canal was lined with western millennial twat packers armed with supersoakers. It was only away from the canal,in the back soi's I got to see how thai's celebrated songkran.
I loved water fights, when I was 8 years old...
Why the background music , I 'd have rather hear the real sounds ? Is it to do with copyright

I dated a girl for a month ( here in the states) that was from Udan Thani … sweet girl, she was a great actor(lol) turns out she was here shopping for a husband ( and she didn’t think ) I didn’t have enough to make the cut! ( I am glad I hid my true wealth well!)

Lasts 8 days (started a day early)here in Pattaya it’s crazy anytime your on a baht bus as soon as it slows down at a junction or lights your attacked by a load of idiots wit the high powered jet guns. I’ll never return in April
Fair enough. I love how the Thais have taken a tradition and turned it into a 'fun' festival.......GREAT, good on 'em.....BUT it is NOT for ME. It just bores me. Ed......Have you ever been in SE Asia this far AFTER the high season yet????

The next few weeks will see a massive jump in eye infections and other bacterial illness due to this craziness, apart from the 100s of road deaths and 1000s serious injuries
It's amazing what stupid people will do in the name of fun.

Why is it childish.Older person's and young enjoy it and I used to hate thought about being here During songkran.Just go with flow 🌊🤽🏾♀️🔫💦🩳 or slink off somewhere quieter in your SAFE SPACE 🚀🌌😢
