Song of Mind (Xin Ming) - Master Niutou Farong - Zen Buddhism

Reading of the famous seventh-century Zen classic Xin Ming, or "Song of Mind" - this poem is a masterpiece of expressing the inexpressible.
Zen master Farong (594-657) of Mt. Niutou came from Yanling in Run Province. His surname was Wei. By the age of nineteen he was versed in the classic Confucian histories, but later he read the Nirvana Sutra and thereupon penetrated the truth. One day he exclaimed, "Confucianism is a doctrine of worldly affairs, but it isn't a teaching of the highest truth. When I read the Nirvana Sutra, I finally found a vessel for leaving the world behind."

Emptiness is only a word - until it becomes an experience. At that point, there is nothing more to say - until the need for words compels us. As Idries Shah said, 'You might arrive at my house riding a camel, or a motorbike. But, if you want to come inside, you must leave the vehicle outside'. The vehicle is language - who can do without it? There is a cosmic humour at work here.

Things are created and destroyed at same time ...but the mind doesnot catch this flow which result the notion of I and they....see ,gather and loose it ..not holding...this very act is the act living and dying at the same time..or movement and nonmovement at same time ..or arising and dissolving at same time..
