These two singers are marvelous!!! I can barely breathe while listening (let alone speak!) My heart continues to grieve for the tragic loss of Hvorostovsky, one of my favorite baritone singers of all time. I think I will mourn until I leave this earth. Still, these 2 singers have great stage chemistry, their voices blend, and they DAZZLE! 😢❤😊
He made the most of what was basically a lyric instrument through technique, artistry, musicality, and sheer determination. It didn't hurt he was incredibly beautiful and magnetic. He was taken too soon...and was a great tragedy and sadness. RIP dear Dima.

Quel duo fantastique! Dimitri, hélas trop tôt parti et que j'ai eu la chance de voir dans Eugene Onéguine (Tchaïkovski) au Châtelet à Paris c'était fabuleux comme ici. Le final du duo est extraordinaire, c'est très chaud entre eux, comment résister à Dimitri et elle semble prête à succomber. C'est en concert, mais tout le jeu est là.

With Dmitri in the part of the Count di Luna I feel sorry that he doesn’t get the girl! He was the greatest baritone . I’m glad I was able to see him at the ROH a few years before he died. RIP dear Dima. You will never be forgotten by opera lovers!

Тоже самое и со мной,только после ухода Дмитрия Хворостовского я стала более глубже интересоваться оперой, тяжело, но есть вещи которые становятся интересными, жаль, что нет записей опер с его участием, только отдельные куски, спасибо что был и останешься навечно

Have just ordered the DVD. Saw Radvanovsky and wonderful Hvorostovsky in Live HD film recording of the Met's Opera production Un Ballo in Maschero. This was last Sunday in Sydney, and still mesmorised .

Dmitri Hvorostovsky died in November of 2017. He was 55 years of age. He left a wife and two, or three children. It's a shame.

Had Verdi written this with Dimitri in mind Luna would have got the girl....he is bloody hot.
