So beautifully captured. Loved the fact that you visited Kargil war memorial and saw a glimpse of Ladakh. Honestly such unplanned things turn out to be so amazing! Sonamarg is definitely on my list now, earlier I was thinking about dropping it after I saw the crowd in the photos from peak season. Gulmarg jaana chahiye. And even better option would be pahalgam. Yeah its totally safe, i didnt personally see or face any such issues. Just stick to the popular tourist destinations on your 1st trip

In summers Sonmarg wins hands down. Gulmarg is a winter dreamland. And there's no river gushing down in Gulmarg like Sindh is flowing in Sonmarg (visible in video). The road to Sonmarg in summers is very beautiful as you drive with Sindh river on your side, nothing like that in Gulmarg. Just an ordinary mountain road like Lonavla. Sonmarg also has Thajiwas glacier. Without any second thoughts opt for SOANMARG
