No idea what a power pole is on a boat, but I bet he has the corroded pressure release valve replaced, and carries a wrench to fit it onboard from now on.

Hahaha. Definitely! 😂 Some boats will run 2 of them so they can hold orientation as well as position

I was able to undo one of the lines from the pump to release the pressure

The power pole (basically a big stick) is used in shallow water for holding position. The pump failed after he had deployed it, so the end was stuck in the ground and the boat couldn't be moved without it breaking

Get a mic and talk more, tell us what is going on.
