Old lady here. I can't tell you how much I love and enjoy your books as I have a lot of health issues and don't sleep well, when I wake up so many times during the night I listen to your wonderful books and they calm my shot nerves. I hope someone told the mom that Darcy sent the flowers to Elizabeth. I cant imagine, as a mom, to show such blatant preference for one daughter over another.

In this case, Mrs. Bennet’s only thought was the flowers were meant for Jane. Jane had two suitors and to the best of Mrs. B’s knowledge the other girls had none. I suppose even if she was told the flowers were meant for Elizabeth, she would not have believed it.
