This is the true face of Lebanon🇱🇧. Pure art. You made us proud girls and thank u for ur reaction on their stunning performance
Being Arab myself I can assure you that it is very hard for an Arab woman to take up dancing in any form, with all their glory, they still face criticism... They have all my respect and admiration... For the story as I saw it, it is the dance of nature with its creatures... The tree of life and the snake of wisdom and the cycle begins only to continue forever and more.
From Lebanon proud of Mayyas🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧 Amazing
As a Lebanese myself they did amazing job . You made Lebanon proud.

Not just Lebanon sis the whole Arab world is proud as an Iraqi I cried when I saw their first audition after their hard journey ❤️🫶✊✊
You neeď to check their final performance. They all created together a 'Cedar Tree' which is the main symbol in Lebanon's flag. 🇱🇧 Thank you for highlighting their talent to the world man.

That's it :) Mayyaaaaass is the message of hope that lebanon need it right now 🔥🇱🇧🔥

Arab habibiiiii
For all the Mayyas lovers I uploaded a video of the MAYYAS dancing Hip Hop and its indeed amazing, i love them in Hip Hop even more than the oriental type ❤❤
thank you Jesse, you got a very sharp eye , you noticed that the camera is off angle , i guess you work in artistic domain 👍🙏🙂
Interesting entry. Competition programs have become the major way to "make it" around the world but yes it is still harder for women to succeed. Larkin Poe, The Warning, Baceprot, Pussy Riot and other women led groups can tell you that. In the USA Dancing with the Stars was a big deal in my area of the country for disgraced politicians and old actors. I have seen the Eurovision episode of Riverdance and watched the Sing Off with Pentatonix (only because the story told of the high school students makes no sense until you find out about the prior experience of the rythmn section of bass and beatboxer and the member of the show who put the whole group together to begin with that was conveniently left out as many of the true back stories are.) Pretty much enjoyed around the world though and great for publicity for the various artists. Sometimes it works and sometimes the eliminated contestants go on to have the longest lasting careers like Lindsey Stirling. It was perfect for Dimash, Angelina Jordan, Diana Ankudinova, Susan Boyle and Rag N Bone Man (Rory Graham) or for Kelly Clarkson and Tori Kelly in the USA. It can be a "meat grinder" though as many winners discover. Maddie Poppe who won American Idol in 2018 wrote a song about the experience after the win "Nothing Good Comes Out of California" kzread.info/dash/bejne/qmSNx8uwhZy_pqw.html Maddie is performing as support for Avi Kaplan in the 2nd half of his current USA fall tour.

My references are pretty much all dutch winners. It is rare the winner does well. The freedom that a runner-up experiences combined with the full serie publicity most times works best here. But i guess the names you've called out here are still in the picture quite a lot haha. Maddie's name i think i saw pass by, gotta check it out!
Please react to the final performance!! 😍😍😍
Lebanese talents🇱🇧🇱🇧😍😍
So did anyone figure out the title of the song...
Its first time to see this chanal ...

This is the tree of life and how eve split the tree with the serpent. And how evil worked with humans, and after all, they will all return to the tree of life. (God)

@@JesseReacts I'm sorry but you were too cold to reply, not everyone should always show sobriety in their character 🌚🌚😂
Just a correction She meant the dance isnt yet supported ( Lebanese tempt ) to watch singers theaters etc.. but no dancers U said Lebanese in Beirut should be easy but out of beirut they should sandup for the empowerment Dude we are talking about Lebanon not any other country Most of the women are university students in a Lebanese house educate the best education for your girls is a most and get her a degree so she can work We do beleive even women can work. Lebanese women are even in the gov as politician and in the parlements. Most the the Lebanese singers are women and most famous TV host in case entertainment host or political host are females. I've noticed many didnt got what she meant as it was lost many in the translation and Sophia jumped immediately . If you would like to see some Lebanese Singers Girls Nancy Ajram ( she did lately a song with Marshmallow ) Elissa Hayfa wehbeh And of course the Queen :) Najwa Kara

Those comments were aimed at the narrative that was set at the audition: "Dancing is not a viable carreer path in Lebanon. And for girls it's even harder." Paraphrasing it a bit. The "even" women can work and they "even" are in the goverment makes me think there is a long way to go. But maybe that's just lost in translation a bit, appreciate the comment.

@@akramshelmani6172 It is not a case about being liberated or not. The issue is a huge financial/political one. Especially since 2019. Our money was stolen by the government from the banks. We can't have access to our OWN money. We can only withdraw a very small amount every month. In addition, there's been a hyperinflation since that time; the lebanese lira which was 1 500 L.L. = 1 $ is now close to 40 000 L.L. = 1 $...which is insane..considering our salaries haven't changed much. So with all of that happening (hyperinflation&medicine shortage&extreme power cuts&high immigration rates, rationing of bread, fuel shortage, the Beirut explosion, etc.) (and since our financial situation wasn't that great to begin with before all of that..again because of a very corrupted political system), there is simply no money being invested in the arts, sports, etc. And dancers like Mayyas have to go to university and get different jobs to be able to survive (just like our basketball players have to do so too, sadly) and there is less time devoted to practicing and getting all resources needed and wanted. So imagine our pride seeing Mayyas and the basketball team winning competitions and championships with all of the hardships we are going through. The mental and physical stress and exhaustion. Can't help but wonder how much we could have been able to achieve had we had access to our money and had a normal living situation, the huge potential we have...
