it is pretty sad that the only time his friends care about Will is when his life is on the line. Poor kid has been to literal hell and back and all he wants to do is spend time with his friends.

That whole 2 and a half minute DuSteve sequence of them reuniting and catching up might be my favorite scene in the first 3 seasons because of how many times I keep coming back to it

El and Max is my second favorite friendship in this show. Behind Steve and Robin.

I can even remember going places in the year 2000 as a kid and my family having to leave because the amount of smoke triggered my asthma 😭😂

Who the F is Phoebe Cates?!??! She was THE DREAM GIRL that everyone either wanted to be like or be in a relationship with. She was in several classic 80's movies - Fast Times at Ridgemont High, GREMLINS, GREMLINS 2, & Drop Dead Fred... to name a few. That's why her name is referenced several times in this season (and at the start of season 4). There is one ICONIC scene (involving a red bikini) from Fast Times at Ridgemont High that every pubescent teen/High schooler & young men in America who have seen the film knows all about. If you ask any of those males, what their favorite moment from the film is and 99% of them will say "the pool scene!" 😳🤣 Phoebe retired from acting many years ago to focus on raising her children. She now runs a very successful fashion boutique in New York City. She quit acting after getting married to Kevin Kline (another iconic actor). She made a couple of movies in the first few years of their marriage. But when they decided to start a family, she quit show business full time around the mid 1990's. She has been offered several roles over the years, but turned them down. She did appear in The Anniversary Party (2001) which was directed by Jennifer Jason Leigh, her former co-star in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. You guys seem to like horror films, so have you seen GREMLINS yet? It's not really a horror movie with a bunch of blood & gore, rather it is more along the lines of a comedy with some horror elements. You should check it out - it's campy & cheesy, but it's a lot of fun to watch. Corey Feldman (The Lost Boys, The Goonies, Stand By Me, Friday the 13th, etc) is one of Phoebe's co-stars in GREMLINS.

The big motorcycle guy is the Russian officer who picked up and strangled the lead scientist in the opening scene of the season.

I like the elMax friendship I mean, at some point it had to happen due to the little misunderstanding they had last season.some rectors sometimes tend to criticize Max for influencing el but it is the opposite in fact, max taught eleven a lot, she is teaching her to be more herself and not be dependent on a boy or a Man in specific , let's remember that she really has no experience or such a great social bond outside of her Circle she only interacts with Hopper and Mike so for her to live an experience as a normal teenager and not just l Seen like Hopper's adopted daughter who has to be in captivity Because he has superpowers. She really needed to go out and live the experience like the others, you know, doing things that teenagers her age do, and to develop more in society.That's why I don't see Max as a bad influence. Yes, it's not a normal friendship. Yes, a little exaggerated at first, but nothing more. In fact, this friendship is going to play a big key role in the plot of Season 4- I can't wait for you to see it.

For me it’s not that Max is influcing El its that nobody except Mike seems to care about her well being, honestly, it frustrates me how many directions El is pulled in this season. Nobody teaches her how to balance her life. Hopper drives a wedge between her and Mike, Max is so blinded by her desire to help El become independent that she has no regard for her safety and Mike is so threatened by Hopper and El and and Max’s friendship that he forgets about Will and everyone else. I wish these things didn’t go from 0 to 100 so fast, more build up would have been way better:

I've watched ST3 thousands of times and I just noticed the "Taco bell coming soon" it now when Bridget point it out .

The expressions on your faces as certain things get revealed reminds me of my own confusion/horror as I was trying to figure out what was going on when I first watched this.

I had to Google her aha. All I know her from is Drop Dead Fred and Fast Times at Ridgemont High. I was born in 99 though, so her career definitely took a dip by the time I was born.

In October 2005, she started a very successful fashion boutique in the Upper East side of New York City called "Blue Tree". She's been offered several lucrative acting roles, but has turned most of them down. She did star in 2001's The Anniversary Party which was directed by her former co-star from Fast Times, Jennifer Jason Leigh. Her husband is also in that movie.

There are many things wrong with Billy. Most of them aren't Upside Down related. But here we are. Dustin, Steve and Robin have a nice dynamic going on. They're all pretty fun to watch. And honestly, Robin is a great new addition to the cast. This is the first time we've really seen Mike and Jane interact as a couple. They got together at the end of S1. Were separated for most of S2. And now they're fighting and already broken up. I personally was never too crazy about them anyway so it's meh. I feel so bad for Will even in this season. First Season, he gets snatched up. Second season, he gets possessed, burned, and tormented. Now he just wants his life to go back to the way it was and his friends aren't paying attention to him. He's being ignored. Being Will Byers is suffering. Will deserves better.
